Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation, provided, however, that the provisions deleting Article 6, paragraph (2), the provisions amending Article 7, paragraph (1) and Article 8, paragraph (1), the provisions amending Article 48, paragraph (1) and Article 54, paragraph (1) (limited to the part replacing "Article 6, paragraph (1) or paragraph (2)" with "Article 6"), the provisions amending Article 67, paragraph (1), Article 90, item (i) and Article 91-2, item (i), the provisions amending Article 95, paragraph (1), item (ii) (limited to the part adding "(excluding item (i))" after "Article 91-2"), the provisions amending Article 95, paragraph (2), item (ii) (limited to the part replacing "Article 91-2, items (i) and (ii)" with "Article 91-2, item (ii)"), and the provisions of the following Article and Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、第六条第二項を削る改正規定、第七条第一項及び第八条第一項の改正規定、第四十八条第一項及び第五十四条第一項の改正規定（「第六条第一項若しくは第二項」を「第六条」に改める部分に限る。）、第六十七条第一項、第九十条第一号及び第九十一条の二第一号の改正規定、第九十五条第一項第二号の改正規定（「第九十一条の二」の下に「（第一号を除く。）」を加える部分に限る。）、第九十五条第二項第二号の改正規定（「第九十一条の二第一号、第二号」を「第九十一条の二第二号」に改める部分に限る。）並びに次条及び附則第四条の規定は、公布の日から施行する。

第二条（経過措置）
With regard to a notification, made before the enforcement of the provisions deleting Article 6, paragraph (2) of the Act on Prohibition of Private Monopolization and Maintenance of Fair Trade, concerning an international agreement or international contract prescribed in that paragraph, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
私的独占の禁止及び公正取引の確保に関する法律第六条第二項を削る改正規定の施行前にした同項に規定する国際的協定又は国際的契約に係る届出については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3
第三条
With regard to measures necessary to eliminate an act that existed before this Act comes into effect in violation of the provisions of Article 9, paragraph (1) or (2) or Article 9-2, paragraph (1) of the Act on Prohibition of Private Monopolization and Maintenance of Fair Trade prior to amendment (hereinafter referred to as the "Former Act") or Article 17 of the Former Act (limited to the part pertaining to Article 9, paragraph (1) or (2) or Article 9-2, paragraph (1) of the Former Act), the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にあった改正前の私的独占の禁止及び公正取引の確保に関する法律（以下「旧法」という。）第九条第一項若しくは第二項、第九条の二第一項又は第十七条（旧法第九条第一項若しくは第二項又は第九条の二第一項に係る部分に限る。）の規定に違反する行為を排除するために必要な措置については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 4
第四条
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act (or, for the provisions prescribed in the proviso to Article 1 of the Supplementary Provisions, those provisions; the same applies in this Article) comes into effect and to acts committed after this Act comes into effect in the cases where the provisions then in force continue to govern pursuant to the provisions of Article 2 of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
