This Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 52 of 2017 amended it.

第六号新船員保険法（だいろくごうしんせんいんほけんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2026, the Mariners Insurance Act as amended by Article 4 of that Act, which comes into effect on the date set in Article 1, item (vi) of those supplementary provisions: a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within two years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication) on 5 June 2026.

新特定情報処理活動（しんとくていじょうほうしょりかつどう）

The activities in item (b) of the Designated Activities (特定活動) entry in Appended Table I(5) of this Act as amended by the 2006 amending law (Act No. 43 of 2006), which take the place of the specified information processing activities under Article 26, paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Districts for Structural Reform as it stood before that law amended it.

旧特定情報処理活動（きゅうとくていじょうほうしょりかつどう）

The specified information processing activities (特定情報処理活動) provided for in Article 26, paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Districts for Structural Reform as it stood before the 2006 amending law (Act No. 43 of 2006) amended it.

時効消滅不整合期間（じこうしょうめつふせいごうきかん）

An inconsistent period (不整合期間) — premium-paid time as a category 3 insured person (第三号被保険者) later corrected in the records to time as a category 1 insured person (第一号被保険者) — for which the right to collect premiums had already become time-barred when the record was corrected (Article 9-4-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則)).

熱損失防止改修工事（ねつそんしつぼうしかいしゅうこうじ）

Heat-loss prevention renovation work as defined in Article 15-9, paragraph 9 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Local Tax Act as it stood before Act No. 1 of 2022 amended it: renovation work of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets that helps prevent heat loss through outer walls, windows and the like, done from 1 April 2008 to 31 March 2022 in the residential part (特定居住用部分) of a house that had existed since 1 January 2008 or earlier (other than a building in unit ownership, and of a kind a Cabinet Order sets).

障害者等未確認公債（しょうがいしゃとうみかくにんこうさい）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 15 of 2002, a public bond (公債) bought before 1 January 2006 by an individual aged 65 or over with a domicile in Japan that on that date met the requirements of Article 4 of this Act as it stood before the amendment made by the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iii)(a) of those supplementary provisions, other than one for which the documents the individual showed already count as papers confirming a disability or similar position (障害者等確認書類); interest on it for the part of the interest period up to 31 December 2005 stays under the former rules.

旧特定農業生産法人（きゅうとくていのうぎょうせいさんほうじん）

In Article 55 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 21 of 2005, an agricultural production corporation (農業生産法人), as defined in Article 2, paragraph (3) of the Cropland Act as it stood before Article 3 of Act No. 63 of 2015 amended it, of a kind a Cabinet Order (政令) sets — the corporation to which a donee (受贈者) whose gift tax on farmland was deferred could lend all that farmland free of charge (使用貸借) before 1 July 2011.

新高齢者医療確保法（しんこうれいしゃいりょうかくほほう）

Short name, in Article 35 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, for the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People (Act No. 80 of 1982) as amended by Article 18 of that Act (only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iii) of its supplementary provisions), as Article 16 of the supplementary provisions of the National Health Insurance Act as amended by that Act applies it.

第二号新不動産登記法（だいにごうしんふどうさんとうきほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 24 of 2021, the Real Property Registration Act (Act No. 123 of 2004) as amended by Article 2 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (ii) of those supplementary provisions.

経過的旧その他の病床（けいかてききゅうそのたのびょうしょう）

In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 141 of 2000, the transitional former other beds provided for in Article 2, paragraph (3), item (iv) of those provisions — former other beds (旧その他の病床) whose former rules Article 2, paragraph (2) kept in force until the hospital made its notification — which Article 5 counts with long-term care and general beds in applying Article 7-2, paragraph (1) of the Medical Care Act as that Act amended it, for two years and six months after it came into effect.

旧担保附社債信託法等（きゅうたんぽつきしゃさいしんたくほうとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 131 of 1998, the 49 laws that Article 2 of those provisions lists, beginning with the law on secured bond trusts (担保附社債信託法) and including the law on securities and exchange (証券取引法), the Banking Act and the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, as they stood before that Act amended them.

新租税条約実施特例法（しんそぜいじょうやくじっしとくれいほう）

In Articles 6 and 12 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 7 of 2006, the law on special provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Corporation Tax Act and the Local Tax Act for implementing tax treaties (租税条約の実施に伴う所得税法、法人税法及び地方税法の特例等に関する法律) as amended by Article 26 of those supplementary provisions.

新沖縄振興特別措置法（しんおきなわしんこうとくべつそちほう）

In Article 16 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 1 of 2022, the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion and Development of Okinawa as amended by Article 1 of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion and Development of Okinawa, etc. (Act No. 7 of 2022).

金融商品取引法施行日（きんゆうしょうひんとりひきほうしこうび）

In Articles 2 and 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Ministry of Finance Order No. 72 of 2002, the date on which the Ministry of Finance Order (財務省令) No. 53 of 2007 that partially amended the Regulation for Enforcement of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation and other orders came into effect.

平成二十四年一元化法（へいせいにじゅうよねんいちげんかほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 40 of 2020, for the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012), the 2012 Act to unify the employees' pension systems (被用者年金制度).

旧担保附社債信託法等（きゅうたんぽつきしゃさいしんたくほうとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 1997, the 46 laws that Article 2 of those provisions lists, beginning with the law on secured bond trusts (担保附社債信託法) and including the law on securities and exchange (証券取引法), the Banking Act and the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, as they stood before that Act amended them.

指定車両移動保管機関（していしゃりょういどうほかんきかん）

In Article 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 90 of 2007, a designated organization for moving and storing vehicles under Article 51-3, paragraph (1) of the Road Traffic Act as it stood before that Act amended it.

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 1997, the 46 laws that Article 2 of those provisions lists, beginning with the law on secured bond trusts (担保附社債信託法) and including the law on securities and exchange (証券取引法), the Banking Act and the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, as they stood before that Act amended them.
