連結法人から引継ぎを受けた場合（れんけつほうじんからひきつぎをうけたばあい）

In the paragraph of Article 23 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 15 of 2002 that defines it, the case where the business year of the merged, splitting or contributing corporation that contains the date of the qualified merger, qualified company split or qualified capital contribution in kind (for a merger or a split-off type split, the day before it) is a consolidated business year (連結事業年度).

旧産業高度化・事業革新促進地域（きゅうさんぎょうこうどか・じぎょうかくしんそくしんちいき）

An industrial upgrading and business innovation promotion area (産業高度化・事業革新促進地域), as defined in Article 35, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion and Development of Okinawa as it stood before Article 1 of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures for the Promotion and Development of Okinawa, etc. (Act No. 7 of 2022) amended it, that was set out, on the day before Act No. 4 of 2022 comes into effect, in an industrial upgrading and business innovation promotion plan (産業高度化・事業革新促進計画) referred to in Article 5, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 7 of 2022.

平成二十年四月前の医療等に要する費用（へいせいにじゅうねんしがつまえのいりょうとうにようするひよう）

In Article 38 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2006, the costs of the medical care, etc. (医療等) — examination, supply of drugs or treatment, or elderly home-nursing (老人訪問看護) — given under this Act as it stood before Article 7 of that Act amended it (平成二十年四月改正前老健法) before the day Article 7 came into effect, 1 April 2008.

厚生年金保険法による年金たる保険給付等（こうせいねんきんほけんほうによるねんきんたるほけんきゅうふとう）

In Article 11, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, pensions paid under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and pensions paid under the mutual aid Acts as they stood before the 2012 Pension Unification Act (平成二十四年一元化法), other than the retirement mutual aid pension paid to the persons in Article 31, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions.

基金に加入しなかつた場合の老齢厚生年金の額（ききんにかにゅうしなかったばあいのろうれいこうせいねんきんのがく）

For an employees' old-age pension (老齢厚生年金) paid to a person who was a member of an employees' pension fund (厚生年金基金), that pension worked out as though Article 44-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 63 of 2013 did not apply — in Articles 11-3 and 13-6 of the supplementary provisions (附則), not counting the additional amount of pension (加給年金額).

平成三十年度都道府県概算前期高齢者交付金額（へいせいさんじゅうねんどとどうふけんがいさんぜんきこうれいしゃこうふきんがく）

In Article 30, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated young-old subsidy (概算前期高齢者交付金) for fiscal 2018, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed young-old subsidies of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2016 and by the young-old subsidy adjustment amount (前期高齢者交付調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's young-old subsidy (前期高齢者交付金) for fiscal 2018 in place of Article 33, paragraph (1) of this Act.

平成三十年度都道府県概算前期高齢者納付金額（へいせいさんじゅうねんどとどうふけんがいさんぜんきこうれいしゃのうふきんがく）

In Article 30, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated young-old payment (概算前期高齢者納付金) for fiscal 2018, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed young-old payments of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2016 and by the young-old payment adjustment amount (前期高齢者納付調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's young-old payment (前期高齢者納付金) for fiscal 2018 in place of Article 37, paragraph (1) of this Act.

平成三十年度都道府県概算後期高齢者支援金額（へいせいさんじゅうねんどとどうふけんがいさんこうきこうれいしゃしえんきんがく）

In Article 30, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated old-old aid (概算後期高齢者支援金) for fiscal 2018, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed old-old aid of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2016 and by the old-old aid adjustment amount (後期高齢者調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's old-old aid (後期高齢者支援金) for fiscal 2018 in place of Article 119, paragraph (1) of this Act.

適用対象期間における課税仕入れ等の税額の計算（てきようたいしょうきかんにおけるかぜいしいれとうのぜいがくのけいさん）

The computation of the total tax on taxable purchases, etc. (課税仕入れ等の税額) for wholesale and retail businesses in the applicable period (適用対象期間) under Article 39, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 15 of 2016).

平成三十一年度都道府県概算前期高齢者交付金額（へいせいさんじゅういちねんどとどうふけんがいさんぜんきこうれいしゃこうふきんがく）

In Article 31, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated young-old subsidy (概算前期高齢者交付金) for fiscal 2019, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed young-old subsidies of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2017 and by the young-old subsidy adjustment amount (前期高齢者交付調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's young-old subsidy (前期高齢者交付金) for fiscal 2019 in place of Article 33, paragraph (1) of this Act.

平成三十一年度都道府県概算前期高齢者納付金額（へいせいさんじゅういちねんどとどうふけんがいさんぜんきこうれいしゃのうふきんがく）

In Article 31, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated young-old payment (概算前期高齢者納付金) for fiscal 2019, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed young-old payments of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2017 and by the young-old payment adjustment amount (前期高齢者納付調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's young-old payment (前期高齢者納付金) for fiscal 2019 in place of Article 37, paragraph (1) of this Act.

平成三十一年度都道府県概算後期高齢者支援金額（へいせいさんじゅういちねんどとどうふけんがいさんこうきこうれいしゃしえんきんがく）

In Article 31, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2015, a prefecture's estimated old-old aid (概算後期高齢者支援金) for fiscal 2019, which, adjusted by the difference between the total estimated and the total fixed old-old aid of the municipalities (市町村) in its area for fiscal 2017 and by the old-old aid adjustment amount (後期高齢者調整金額) on that difference, gives the prefecture's old-old aid (後期高齢者支援金) for fiscal 2019 in place of Article 119, paragraph (1) of this Act.

申請等（しんせいとう）

In Article 24 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 25 of 1984, an application, notification or other act made to one of the maritime and land transport officials the Article names. The Article treats such an act made, before that Act came into effect, to a Director of a District Maritime Bureau (海運局長), the Director of the Maritime Supervision Department (海運監理部長), a branch office head (支局長等) or a Director of a District Land Transport Bureau (陸運局長) as made to the corresponding official under the Acts as that Act amended them, as a Cabinet Order (政令) provides, or, for an act made to a branch office head, a Ministry of Transport Order (運輸省令).

第三号施行日（だいさんごうしこうび）

1 October 2017, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item 3 of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 14 of 2017 come into effect — among them most of that Act's Article 7, which amends this Act.
