The amount the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare sets, taking account of average household spending on food, heating, lighting and water and of the base costs of meals and accommodation under Article 51-3, paragraph (2) of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act, which is deducted from the cost of living support (生活療養) to give the living support expenses for inpatients (入院時生活療養費); a different amount applies to people a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) specifies in view of their income, condition, treatment and other circumstances.

認定電気工事従事者
A person who has been issued a certified electrical worker certificate (認定電気工事従事者認定証), and so may take part in simple electrical work (簡易電気工事) on electric facilities for private use (自家用電気工作物) without being a Class 1 electrician (第一種電気工事士).

In Article 20 and Article 24, paragraph (2), for a specified telecommunications service (特定電気通信役務), the cumulative count (延べ数), in which the same person may be counted more than once, of those who became senders (発信者) through the service in a month, leaving out those presumed to be outside Japan, averaged over a period a Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications Order (総務省令) sets.
A corporation that meets the requirements a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) sets and that a prefectural governor designates as able to do the work properly, to which a prefecture may entrust part of its work of ordering reports and having officials ask questions about long-term care and similar benefits under Article 24, paragraphs (1) and (2) — not choosing whom to order or question, nor the orders themselves — and other work that Order names.
七十歳以上の使用される者
A former insured aged 70 or over who is employed at a place of business covered by employees' pension insurance (適用事業所) and meets the requirements an Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (厚生労働省令) sets for being so employed, as Article 27 defines.
特定書面等地方税関係通知
A notice under the local tax laws and regulations (地方税関係法令) to the head of another administrative organ, whose method those laws prescribe as in writing, etc. (書面等) or otherwise, that an Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (総務省令) sets; unless it is given by that method or through the electronic system of the Act on the Advancement of Government Administration Processes That Utilize Information and Communications Technology, it may be given through the electronic data processing system for local tax procedures (地方税関係手続用電子情報処理組織) by way of the Local Tax Joint Organization (地方税共同機構).
行政執行法人子の看護等休暇
Leave that a staff member of an agency engaged in administrative execution (行政執行法人) raising a child who has not yet passed the first 31 March after reaching nine years of age can take, with the agency head's approval, for the purposes of short-term leave for sick/injured childcare, etc. (子の看護等休暇) under Article 16-2 — looking after the child when injured or sick, preventive care, school closures and similar events, or school and childcare events (Article 61, paragraph 6).
前期高齢者に係る流行初期医療確保拠出金の額
For an insurer, the part of its contribution for securing medical care in the early phase of an epidemic (流行初期医療確保拠出金) under the Act on the Prevention of Infectious Diseases and Medical Care for Patients with Infectious Diseases for the fiscal year before last that relates to its young-old participants (前期高齢者である加入者), as a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) calculates it; it counts in working out the insurer's fixed young-old subsidy (確定前期高齢者交付金) and fixed young-old payment (確定前期高齢者納付金).
The rate the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare sets for calculating the Class II special enrollment insurance premiums (第二種特別加入保険料), in view of the rates of occupational accidents, multiple-job-related accidents and commuting accidents (for persons a Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare Order (厚生労働省令) specifies under Article 35, paragraph (1) of the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act, industrial and multiple-job-related accidents only) in businesses of the same or a similar kind as those of Article 33, item (iii) of that Act or doing work of the same or a similar kind as that of its item (v), the kind and content of the social reintegration promotion programs (社会復帰促進等事業) and other circumstances.
