整備法（せいびほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, for Act No. 66 of 2006, the Act that arranged related Acts for the coming into effect of Act No. 65 of 2006, which partially amended this Act and other Acts.

訴願等（そがんとう）

A petition, request for examination, objection or other administrative appeal filed under the old appeal system.

当初契約（とうしょけいやく）

A contract under the main clause of Article 29-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by Act No. 23 of 1998, concluded before that Act came into effect between a stock company and its directors, etc., that did not set out some or all of the requirements in the items of that paragraph.

大型免許（おおがためんきょ）

In paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 126 of 1967, which amended the Road Traffic Act, a large motor vehicle license (大型自動車免許) held when Article 1 of that Act came into effect.

障害年金等（しょうがいねんきんとう）

In Article 94, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, the disability basic pension (障害基礎年金) under Article 25 of those supplementary provisions, the disability pensions under the former National Pension Act (旧国民年金法) and the former Employees' Pension Insurance Act (旧厚生年金保険法), and other disability pensions a Cabinet Order (政令) names.

三十年新法（さんじゅうねんしんぽう）

The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 2 of 2017, which come into effect on 1 April 2018.

従前の税法（じゅうぜんのぜいほう）

The laws on national taxes as they stood before Act No. 67 of 1962 came into effect on 1 April 1962, in the transitional rule of its supplementary provisions (附則) for tax notices already issued under them.

旧有価証券（きゅうゆうかしょうけん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 87 of 1992, the securities listed in Article 2, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Article 15 of that Act amended it.

二年十月新法（にねんじゅうがつしんぽう）

The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2018, which come into effect on 1 October 2020.

給与所得者等（きゅうよしょとくしゃとう）

In Article 10 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 11 of 1978, a salary income earner, etc. as Article 29, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by that Act uses the term; the amended paragraph applies to the economic benefit when such a person buys housing, etc. (住宅等) at a low price on or after that Act came into effect.

旧財産形成貯蓄（きゅうざいさんけいせいちょちく）

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 17 of 1974, asset-building savings (財産形成貯蓄) under Article 4-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by that Act that a worker deposited, entrusted or bought at a financial institution's office between 1 December 1973 and the day before that Act came into effect, other than those covered by the paragraph before.

特例対象事業年度（とくれいたいしょうじぎょうねんど）

In this Article of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 10 of 2014, a business year that began on or after 1 April 2013 and ended before the date the amendments came into effect.

第二号新健康保険法（だいにごうしんけんこうほけんほう）

In Articles 24 and 25 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 52 of 2017, the Health Insurance Act as amended by Article 5 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (ii) of those supplementary provisions, which came into effect on 1 July 2017.

小規模介護老人福祉施設（しょうきぼかいごろうじんふくししせつ）

In Article 37 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 77 of 2005, a facility covered by public aid providing long-term care to the elderly (介護老人福祉施設) as provided in Article 7, paragraph (21) of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act as it stood before that Act amended it, with an admission capacity of 29 or fewer.

特定設備廃棄等欠損金額（とくていせつびはいきとうけっそんきんがく）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 8 of 2020, the part of a deficit (欠損金額), up to the amount a Cabinet Order (政令) sets under Article 66-13, paragraph (2) of this Act as it stood before that Act, arising in a business year ending on or after that Act came into effect for a corporation certified before then under Article 18, paragraph (1) of the Act on the Support for Strengthening Agricultural Competitiveness for its specified business restructuring plan (特定事業再編計画); the carry-back refund of Article 66-12, paragraph (1) does not apply to it.

旧短時間労働援助センター（きゅうたんじかんろうどうえんじょせんたー）

The body that, on 1 July 2007 when Article 1 of Act No. 72 of 2007, the amending Act these supplementary provisions (附則) belong to came into effect, held a designation under Article 13, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that amendment; it is treated as designated under the amended Article 13, paragraph (1).

なお効力を有する旧自賠法（なおこうりょくをゆうするきゅうじばいほう）

In Article 2, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents as it stood before Article 1 of that Act amended it, in the provisions that paragraph (1) of that Article keeps in force for reinsurance relationships between the government and insurers, and insurance relationships between the government and cooperatives, formed before that Act came into effect; the term appears in the words paragraph (2) reads into Article 28-4, paragraph (1) of the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents as amended by Article 1 of that Act.

みなし認可取引所持株会社（みなしにんかとりひきじょもちかぶがいしゃ）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, a person that held an authorization under Article 106-10, paragraph (1) or the proviso to paragraph (3) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it, under its former title (証券取引法) when that Act came into effect, and that Article 111 of those supplementary provisions therefore treats as holding the same authorization under this Act as Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it.

平成二十八年度分調整後付加価値額（へいせいにじゅうはちねんどぶんちょうせいごふかかちがく）

For a corporation listed in Article 72-2, paragraph 1, item 1(a) of the Local Tax Act as amended by Article 1 of Act No. 13 of 2016 that does business in fewer than three prefectures (道府県), its value added (付加価値額) under Article 72-12, item 1(a) of that amended Act for a business year beginning from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017, converted to a twelve-month figure where the business year is shorter than one year; where it is 3 billion yen or less, Article 5, paragraph 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of that Act deducts part of the corporation's enterprise tax (事業税).

みなし教習指導員（みなしきょうしゅうしどういん）

In Article 7 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 43 of 1993, a skills or classroom instructor (技能指導員, 学科指導員) at a driving school designated under the earlier wording who is deemed to be a skills instructor (教習指導員) appointed under Article 99-3, paragraph (1) of the Road Traffic Act as that Act amended it, until the person is issued a skills instructor certificate (教習指導員資格者証).
