労災保険法（ろうさいほけんほう）

Short name for this Act, the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act, used in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Acts that amended it.

当該年度額（とうがいねんどがく）

In Article 17-7 of the supplementary provisions (附則), for a person entitled on 31 March of the previous fiscal year to a pension insurance benefit worked out under Article 43, paragraph (1), Article 9-2, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions or Article 20, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 18 of 2000, the amount of that benefit for the current fiscal year after the revaluation rates (再評価率) are revised under Articles 43-2 to 43-5; that Article compares it with the previous fiscal year's amount (前年度額) to limit how far the revision can lower the benefit.

加給年金額（かきゅうねんきんがく）

In Article 23 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 95 of 1994, the additional amount of pension under Article 44, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by that Act, as Article 18, paragraph (3) of those supplementary provisions applies it to the old-age pension in question.

七号施行日（しちごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item 7 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 1 of 2023 come into effect: the day the agreement between Japan and Australia on facilitating reciprocal access and cooperation between the Self-Defense Forces of Japan and the Australian Defence Force enters into force.

番号利用法（ばんごうりようほう）

In Articles 1 to 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 2019, the short name for the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 27 of 2013).

第六号施行日（だいろくごうしこうび）

The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (vi) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2026 come into effect — among them its Article 2, which amends this Act — a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within two years of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication) on 5 June 2026.

増加負担割合（ぞうかふたんわりあい）

In Article 22, Article 23, paragraph (1) and Appended Table 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 2025, the ratio Appended Table 2 sets for each period, to which 50% is added to give the share of a part-time insured's (短時間被保険者) employees' pension insurance premium that an employer who has applied may, for the time being, bear.

他の保管口座（たのほかんこうざ）

An account of a resident, or of a non-resident with a permanent establishment in Japan, with the same financial instruments business operator or similar institution, other than the specified account (特定口座), for recording securities in a book-entry transfer account register or holding them in custody, as used in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 5 of 2013.

老齢年金給付等（ろうれいねんきんきゅうふとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, the benefits provided for in Article 130, paragraphs (1) to (3) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before that Act, kept in force by Article 5, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions; the reserve held to pay them is the reserve for pension benefits, etc. (年金給付等積立金).

平成八年改正法（へいせいはちねんかいせいほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 34 of 1985, for Act No. 82 of 1996, the 1996 Act partially amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and other Acts.

三十年一月新法（さんじゅうねんいちがつしんぽう）

The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 9 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 2 of 2015, which come into effect on 1 January 2018.

基金中途脱退者等（ききんちゅうとだったいしゃとう）

In Article 70, Article 71, paragraph (2), Article 75 and Article 78, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, fund early leavers (基金中途脱退者) together with members of dissolved funds and similar persons (解散基金加入員等), whose pension and lump-sum benefits the surviving Pension Fund Association (存続連合会) is released from paying when it is dissolved under Article 70, paragraph (1).

令和八年度の土地（れいわはちねんどのとち）

Land on which fixed assets tax (固定資産税) is first levied in fiscal 2026, a row of the table in Article 17-2, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) on lowering tax bases where land prices fall.

第三号旧介護保険法（だいさんごうきゅうかいごほけんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (this Act) as it stood before Article 5 of that Act amended it, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions, which came into effect on 1 April 2015.

改正前の国民年金法（かいせいまえのこくみんねんきんほう）

This Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 86 of 1989 amended it.

一時抹消登録自動車（いちじまっしょうとうろくじどうしゃ）

In Article 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 40 of 2006, a motor vehicle that received temporary cancellation of registration (一時抹消登録) under this Act as it stood before Article 2 of that Act amended it, before the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions came into effect (一部施行日).

平成二十四年機能強化法（へいせいにじゅうよねんきのうきょうかほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 2025, for the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. to Strengthen, etc. the Financial Basis and Minimum Guarantee Function of the Public Pension System (Act No. 62 of 2012).

第四号新金融商品取引法（だいよんごうしんきんゆうしょうひんとりひきほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 79 of 2023, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (Act No. 25 of 1948) as amended by Article 1 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions.

特定四分の三未満短時間労働者（とくていよんぶんのさんみまんたんじかんろうどうしゃ）

In Article 46 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 62 of 2012, a part-time worker employed at an applicable place of business (適用事業所) other than a specified applicable place of business (特定適用事業所) or one of the State or a local government, whose prescribed weekly working hours or monthly working days are less than three-quarters of those of the ordinary workers (通常の労働者) there, and who falls under none of the items of Article 3, paragraph (1) of this Act (other than one whom Article 45 of those provisions takes out of item (ix)); for the time being such a worker is not insured under health insurance.

障害者・長期加入者の老齢厚生年金（しょうがいしゃ・ちょうきかにゅうしゃのろうれいこうせいねんきん）

An employees' old-age pension (老齢厚生年金) under Article 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) whose amount is calculated under Article 9 and Article 9-2, paragraphs (1) to (3) or Article 9-3 of the supplementary provisions — the special calculation for people who, not being insured, have a disability (Article 9-2) or have an insured period of 44 years or more (Article 9-3).
