In Articles 3 and 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 24 of 2012, the certification (認定) for child allowance (児童手当) under Article 7(1) or (2) of the Child Allowance Act as amended by Article 1 of that Act, which Article 3 deems certain people already certified for Children's Allowance (子ども手当) under the Act on Special Measures Concerning the Payment of Children's Allowance, etc. in Fiscal 2011 to hold from the date Act No. 24 of 2012 comes into effect.

The energy consumption efficiency defined in Article 151, item 1(a) of the Act on Rationalization of Energy Use and Shift to Non-fossil Energy, which the supplementary provisions (附則) on the automobile tax (自動車税) and the light vehicle tax (軽自動車税) compare against benchmark values set by an Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (総務省令) to decide which vehicles first registered from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026 are taxed at reduced amounts.

In Article 4 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2001, the automobile accident countermeasures account (自動車事故対策勘定) of the new special account (新特別会計) — the special account for the government's automobile accident compensation program (自動車損害賠償保障事業特別会計), to which part of the assets of the former insurance account (旧保険勘定) passed when that Act came into effect.
