納付金
The levy for the employment of persons with disabilities (障害者雇用納付金) that the Japan Organization for Employment of the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities and Job Seekers (機構) collects from employers each fiscal year, as Subsection 2 of Section 2 of Chapter III provides, to cover the cost of the monetary adjustments, subsidies and other operations of Article 49, paragraph (1).

14 June 2026, the date the Act Partially Amending the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, etc. (Act No. 59 of 2024) comes into effect.
A foreign national staying in Japan with a status of residence (在留資格) and registered under the former Alien Registration Act (旧外国人登録法), whose period of stay ends on or after the day the 2009 amending law (Act No. 79 of 2009) came into effect, and who, unless excluded, could apply for a residence card (在留カード) before that day.

経過措置医療法人
In Article 70-7-13, a transitional medical corporation (経過措置医療法人) as Article 70-7-12, paragraph (2) uses the term; an heir who inherits an equity interest (持分) in one that is a certified medical corporation (認定医療法人) and gives it up before the inheritance tax return deadline pays less inheritance tax.
The monetary adjustment for the employment of persons with disabilities (障害者雇用調整金) that the Japan Organization for Employment of the Elderly, Persons with Disabilities and Job Seekers (機構) pays under Article 50 for each fiscal year to an employer whose qualifying disabled workers, counted on the first day of each month and multiplied by the base adjustment amount (調整基礎額), come to more than its levy as calculated under Article 54, paragraph (1).
In Article 77-2, paragraph (1) and Article 77-3, paragraph (1), a retirement mutual aid pension (退職共済年金) listed in Article 72, paragraph (1), item (i) of the National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012) amended it, as kept in force by Article 37, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則).
改正法
Short name for the Act Partially Amending the Health Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 83 of 2006).
In Article 18-4, paragraphs (2), (4) and (6), an employee who is the beneficiary, insurance money recipient or mutual aid money recipient under a qualified retirement pension contract (適格退職年金契約) — a trust, life insurance or life mutual aid contract under which an employer pays contributions and the provider promises a retirement pension on the employee's retirement — as Article 16, paragraph (1), items (ii) and (iii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Order for the Enforcement of the Corporation Tax Act refer to them.
The 1965 law on immigration control implementing the agreement between Japan and the Republic of Korea on the legal status and treatment of Korean nationals living in Japan (Act No. 146 of 1965), as it stood before Article 6 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Special Act on the Immigration Control of, inter alia, those who have lost Japanese Nationality pursuant to the Treaty of Peace with Japan (Act No. 71 of 1991) repealed it.

In Articles 70-7-9 to 70-7-12, the day the provisions listed in Article 1(ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014 — the 2014 law arranging related laws to promote the comprehensive securing of medical and long-term care in the community — came into effect, from which a medical care corporation's certification by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare counts.
基金
The fund (基金) of a fund-contribution type medical care corporation (基金拠出型医療法人), as referred to in Article 10-3, paragraph (2), item (i)(c) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the 2006 Act amending the Medical Care Act and other laws (Act No. 84 of 2006), to which a donee contributes what is left of their equity after giving up part of it.
The National Public Officers Mutual Aid Association Act as it stood before Article 2 of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012) amended it, as kept in force by Article 37, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則).
In Article 19-3, paragraph (1), items (ii) to (iv), a former employees' pension fund as defined in Article 3, item (x) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the 2013 Act partially amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act and other Acts to secure the soundness and reliability of the public pension system (Act No. 63 of 2013).
The law on the small and medium enterprise corporation (中小企業事業団法, Act No. 53 of 1980) as it stood before Article 24 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the law on the comprehensive small and medium enterprise corporation (中小企業総合事業団法, Act No. 19 of 1999) abolished it.
