A person who falls under any of the following cannot become an officer:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する者は、役員となることができない。
officials of the government or a local government (excluding part-time officials);
政府又は地方公共団体の職員（非常勤の者を除く。）
a person who engages in the business of manufacturing, modifying, maintaining, selling, collecting, dismantling or crushing motor vehicles or motor vehicle parts, or, where such a person is a juridical person, its officers (including a person who, regardless of title, has authority or control equal to or greater than that of an officer);
自動車若しくは自動車の部品の製造、改造、整備、販売、引取り、解体若しくは破砕の事業を営む者又はこれらの者が法人であるときはその役員（いかなる名称によるかを問わず、これと同等以上の職権又は支配力を有する者を含む。）
an officer of an association of persons engaged in the business set forth in the preceding item (including a person who, regardless of title, has authority or control equal to or greater than that of an officer).
