The Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism may entrust the affixing of seals to motor vehicle registration number plates attached to registered motor vehicles to a person who satisfies the requirements specified by Order of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
国土交通大臣は、登録自動車に取り付けた自動車登録番号標への封印の取付けを国土交通省令で定める要件を備える者に委託することができる。
The provisions of Article 26, paragraph (1), Article 28, paragraph (1) and paragraph (1) of the preceding Article apply mutatis mutandis to a person entrusted with the affixing of seals under the preceding paragraph. In this case, the term "motor vehicle registration number plate issuing agent" in those provisions is deemed to be replaced with "person entrusted with the affixing of seals under Article 28-3, paragraph (1)", the phrase "Article 14, paragraph (2))" with "Article 14, paragraph (2)) and paragraphs (3) and (5) of Article 11", the term "motor vehicle registration number plate" with "seal", and the terms "issue", "issuing" and "issuance" with "affix", "affixing" and "affixing" respectively.
第二十六条第一項、第二十八条第一項及び前条第一項の規定は、前項の規定による封印の取付けの委託を受けた者について準用する。この場合において、これらの規定中「自動車登録番号標交付代行者」とあるのは「第二十八条の三第一項の規定による封印の取付けの委託を受けた者」と、「の規定」とあるのは「、第三項及び第五項の規定」と、「自動車登録番号標」とあるのは「封印」と、「交付」とあるのは「取付け」と読み替えるものとする。
