When the summoned witness does not appear without a justifiable reason, the court may punish said witness by making a ruling for a non-criminal fine of not more than 100,000 yen and order said person to compensate for the expenses incurred due to said absence.
召喚を受けた証人が正当な理由がなく出頭しないときは、決定で、十万円以下の過料に処し、かつ、出頭しないために生じた費用の賠償を命ずることができる。
An immediate appeal against the ruling prescribed in the preceding paragraph may be filed.
前項の決定に対しては、即時抗告をすることができる。
