Article 268Examination of Witnesses by an Authorized Judge in a Case Involving Large-Scale Litigation
第二百六十八条（大規模訴訟に係る事件における受命裁判官による証人等の尋問）
In a case involving large-scale litigation (meaning litigation in which a significantly large number of parties are involved and a significantly large number of witnesses or parties themselves are to be examined), the court may have an authorized judge examine witnesses or the parties themselves inside the court, if no objection is made by the parties.
裁判所は、大規模訴訟（当事者が著しく多数で、かつ、尋問すべき証人又は当事者本人が著しく多数である訴訟をいう。）に係る事件について、当事者に異議がないときは、受命裁判官に裁判所内で証人又は当事者本人の尋問をさせることができる。
