Supplementary Provisions, Article 28Adjustment Provisions Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Payment Services Act
第二十八条（資金決済に関する法律の一部改正に伴う調整規定）
If the Effective Date is before the day on which the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions of the Act on the Development of Related Acts to Rationalize Measures concerning the Restriction of Rights of Adult Wards, etc. (Act No. 37 of 2019) come into effect, in the provisions of Article 1 amending Article 63-5, paragraph (1), item (x) of the Payment Services Act, the phrase "replacing 'virtual currency exchange services' with 'cryptoasset exchange services' in (a) of that item, and (d) of that item" is deemed to be replaced with "(d) of that item".
施行日が成年被後見人等の権利の制限に係る措置の適正化等を図るための関係法律の整備に関する法律（令和元年法律第三十七号）附則第一条第二号に掲げる規定の施行の日前である場合には、第一条のうち資金決済に関する法律第六十三条の五第一項第十号の改正規定中「同号イ中「仮想通貨交換業」を「暗号資産交換業」に改め、同号ニ」とあるのは、「同号ニ」とする。
In the case referred to in the preceding paragraph, in the provisions of Article 39 of the Act on the Development of Related Acts to Rationalize Measures concerning the Restriction of Rights of Adult Wards, etc. amending Article 63-5, paragraph (1), item (x), (a) of the Payment Services Act, the phrase "Article 63-5, paragraph (1), item (x), (a)" is deemed to be replaced with "Article 63-5, paragraph (1), item (xi), (a)", and the phrase "virtual currency exchange services" with "cryptoasset exchange services".
