Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding 2 years from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the dates specified respectively in those items.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二年を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。

the provisions of Chapter II, Section 1 (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), Section 2 of that Chapter (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting and prospecting rights), Section 3, Subsection 3 of that Chapter, Article 65 (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), Section 4 of that Chapter (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), Chapter V and Chapter VI (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), Article 131 (limited to the part pertaining to item (i) (limited to the part pertaining to Article 4, paragraph (1), Article 12, paragraph (1), Article 14, paragraph (1) and Article 120, paragraph (1))), Article 132, paragraph (2) (limited to the part pertaining to prospectors), Article 133 (excluding the provisions set forth in the preceding item and the part pertaining to Article 10, paragraph (1), and limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), Article 134 (limited to the part pertaining to prospecting), and Article 137, paragraph (2) (including the penal provisions pertaining to these provisions), and the provisions of Articles 7, 8, 10 through 12, 17, and 19 through 21 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation.

Supplementary Provisions, Article 20Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the Bankruptcy Act
第二十条（破産法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the application, during the period from the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions until the day preceding the effective date, of Article 78, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the Bankruptcy Act as amended by the provisions of the preceding Article, the phrase "storage right, prospecting right" in that item is deemed to be replaced with "prospecting right".
附則第一条第三号に掲げる規定の施行の日から施行日の前日までの間における前条の規定による改正後の破産法第七十八条第二項第二号の規定の適用については、同号中「貯留権、試掘権」とあるのは、「試掘権」とする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 21Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第二十一条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before the enforcement of this Act (in the case of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iii) of the Supplementary Provisions, before the enforcement of those provisions) and to acts committed after the enforcement of this Act in the case where the provisions then in force are to continue to govern pursuant to Article 15, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律（附則第一条第三号に掲げる規定にあっては、当該規定）の施行前にした行為及び附則第十五条第一項の規定によりなお従前の例によることとされる場合におけるこの法律の施行後にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 22Delegation to Cabinet Order
第二十二条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary for the enforcement of this Act (including transitional measures concerning penal provisions) are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に関し必要な経過措置（罰則に関する経過措置を含む。）は、政令で定める。
