A person that has given, offered, or promised to offer a bribe prescribed in paragraph (1) or (3) of the preceding Article is to be punished by imprisonment for not more than three years or a fine of not more than three million yen, or both.
A person that has given, offered, or promised to offer a bribe prescribed in paragraph (2), (4), or (5) of the preceding Article is punishable by imprisonment for not more than five years or a fine of not more than five million yen, or both.
