If any of the following items apply, the person who committed the violation is subject to a fine of not more than 300,000 yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当する場合には、当該違反行為をした者は、三十万円以下の罰金に処する。
uses a character in its name or trade name that could cause it to be mistaken for a door-to-door sales association member or a mail order sales association member, in violation of the provisions of Article 28, paragraph (2) or Article 31, paragraph (2);
rejected, hindered, or avoided the inspection under the provisions of Article 66, paragraph (3) (including as applied mutatis mutandis by replacing the terms pursuant to paragraph (6) of the Article);
failed to provide the report under the provisions of Article 66, paragraph (4) (including as applied mutatis mutandis following a deemed replacement of terms pursuant to paragraph (6) of that Article; hereinafter the same applies in this item) or provided a false report; or failed to submit the materials under the provisions of paragraph (4) of that Article or submitted false materials; or
failed to provide the report under the provisions of Article 66, paragraph (5) or provided a false report; or refused, obstructed, or evaded the inspection under the provisions of that paragraph.
