Supplementary Provisions, Article 4Succession to Rights and Obligations from the Employment Promotion Corporation

第四条（事業団からの権利及び義務の承継）

All rights and obligations that the Employment Promotion Corporation actually has in relation to the operations under the former law at the time this Act comes into effect are succeeded to by the State (or by the association, in the case where the association is made to conduct the levy-related operations pursuant to the provisions of Article 39-2, paragraph (1) of the New Act) at that time.

この法律の施行の際現に事業団が旧法業務に関し有する一切の権利及び義務は、その時において国（新法第三十九条の二第一項の規定により協会に納付金関係業務を行わせる場合にあつては協会）が承継する。

Employment Promotion Corporation
事業団（じぎょうだん）
The Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団), as the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 50 of 1984 name it where, when that Act comes into effect, it hands over to the Minister of Labour (労働大臣) the affairs of the work that the amended Act gives the Minister and that this Act, as it stood before that amendment, gave the Corporation; where the Physically Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Association (身体障害者雇用促進協会) is made to carry out the levy-related work, the Minister is read as that association throughout.

旧法業務（きゅうほうぎょうむ）
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 50 of 1984, work that this Act, as that Act amended it, gives the Minister of Labour (or the Association (協会), where it is to carry out the levy-related operations) and that the Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団) had carried out under this Act as it stood before, under its former title (身体障害者雇用促進法).
