Supplementary Provisions, Article 16Transitional Measures Accompanying the Partial Amendment of the National Health Insurance Act
第十六条（国民健康保険法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
With regard to the health insurance card or health insurance certificate of a person who, at the time the provisions of Article 10 come into effect, is actually issued a health insurance card or health insurance certificate by a Municipality (including special wards; the same applies in the following Article) or a National Health Insurance Society, in the case where that person receives medical treatment from a health insurance-covered medical institution, etc. (meaning a health insurance-covered medical institution or health insurance-covered pharmacy prescribed in Article 63, paragraph (3), item (i) of the Health Insurance Act; the same applies in Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions) or receives designated home nursing (meaning the designated home nursing prescribed in Article 88, paragraph (1) of that Act; the same applies in Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions) from a designated home-nursing provider (meaning the designated home-nursing provider prescribed in Article 88, paragraph (1) of that Act; the same applies in Article 18 of the Supplementary Provisions) on or after the effective date of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (ii) of the Supplementary Provisions (hereinafter referred to as the "item (ii) Effective Date"), the provisions then in force continue to govern until the validity period of that health insurance card or health insurance certificate, as determined under the provisions of the National Health Insurance Act (including orders based thereon) before its amendment by the provisions of Article 10, has elapsed (where the last day of that validity period is on or after the day following the day on which one year has elapsed from the item (ii) Effective Date, until one year has elapsed from the item (ii) Effective Date).
第十条の規定の施行の際現に市町村（特別区を含む。次条において同じ。）又は国民健康保険組合から被保険者証又は被保険者資格証明書の交付を受けている者が、附則第一条第二号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下「第二号施行日」という。）以後に保険医療機関等（健康保険法第六十三条第三項第一号に規定する保険医療機関又は保険薬局をいう。附則第十八条において同じ。）から療養を受ける場合又は指定訪問看護事業者（同法第八十八条第一項に規定する指定訪問看護事業者をいう。附則第十八条において同じ。）から指定訪問看護（同法第八十八条第一項に規定する指定訪問看護をいう。附則第十八条において同じ。）を受ける場合における当該被保険者証又は被保険者資格証明書については、第十条の規定による改正前の国民健康保険法（これに基づく命令を含む。）の規定により定められた当該被保険者証又は被保険者資格証明書の有効期間が経過するまでの間（当該有効期間の末日が第二号施行日から起算して一年を経過する日の翌日以後であるときは、第二号施行日から起算して一年間とする。）は、なお従前の例による。
