Supplementary Provisions, Article 16
第十六条
The provisions of Article 116-2, paragraphs (1) and (2) of the National Health Insurance Act as amended by the provisions of Article 5 apply to an insured person who, due to being admitted to a hospital or clinic (hereinafter in this Article referred to as "hospital, etc."), has come to have a domicile within the area of one Municipality or special ward (hereinafter in this Article simply referred to as "Municipality") on or after the Effective Date, and who is found to have been domiciled within the area of another Municipality when admitted to that hospital, etc.
第五条の規定による改正後の国民健康保険法第百十六条の二第一項及び第二項の規定は、病院又は診療所（以下この条において「病院等」という。）に入院したため施行日以後に一の市町村又は特別区（以下この条において単に「市町村」という。）の区域内に住所を有するに至った被保険者であって、当該病院等に入院した際現に他の市町村の区域内に住所を有していたと認められるものについて、適用する。
