Article 825Effect of Actions Taken by One Parent in the Name of Both Parents

In a case in which parents exercise parental authority jointly, when one parent, in the name of both parents, performs a juridical act on behalf of the child or gives consent for the child to perform a juridical act, even if that act or that consent is contrary to the intention of the other parent, this does not impair its validity; provided, however, that this does not apply if the other party to the juridical act has knowledge of the other parent's contrary intention.
