Article 448Burden of Guarantor, and Subject or Terms of Principal Obligation
第四百四十八条（保証人の負担と主たる債務の目的又は態様）
If the burden of a guarantor is more onerous than the principal obligation as to either its subject or terms, it is reduced to the extent of the principal obligation.
保証人の負担が債務の目的又は態様において主たる債務より重いときは、これを主たる債務の限度に減縮する。
Even if the subject or terms of the principal obligation are made more onerous after the conclusion of a guarantee contract, the burden of the guarantor remains unchanged.
主たる債務の目的又は態様が保証契約の締結後に加重されたときであっても、保証人の負担は加重されない。
