連結納税終了の場合（れんけつのうぜいしゅうりょうのばあい）

In Article 20(1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 8 of 2020), the case where Article 29(1) or (2) of those supplementary provisions applied to the domestic corporation; Article 29(1) treats, with exceptions, a corporation that was a consolidated parent corporation (連結親法人) on 31 March 2022, and its consolidated subsidiary corporations, as having the approval for group tax sharing under Article 64-9(1) of the Corporation Tax Act as amended by that Act.

連結納税終了の場合（れんけつのうぜいしゅうりょうのばあい）

In Article 125(1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 8 of 2020), the case where Article 29(1) or (2) of those supplementary provisions applied to the corporation; Article 29(1) treats certain corporations as having the approval for group tax sharing under Article 64-9(1) of the Corporation Tax Act as that Act amended it.

調整対象外医療費額（ちょうせいたいしょうがいいりょうひがく）

In Article 5, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 106 of 1986, for an insurer whose post-commencement medical expenses (施行日以後医療費額) per participant aged 70 or over, etc. (七十歳以上の加入者等), divided by the average for all insurers, exceed the rate set by Cabinet Order (政令) under Article 4, paragraph (1), item (ii), (b), the part of those expenses above that average multiplied by that rate, as a Ministry of Health and Welfare Order (厚生省令) works it out; in working out the insurer's fixed medical expense contribution (確定医療費拠出金) for fiscal 1986 it is counted apart from the part multiplied by the fixed participant adjustment rate (確定加入者調整率).

前期高齢者交付金等（ぜんきこうれいしゃこうふきんとう）

In Article 17 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 35 of 2010, the young-old subsidy (前期高齢者交付金), the young-old payment (前期高齢者納付金) and the aid for the old-old (後期高齢者支援金) of each insurer of employee insurance, etc. (被用者保険等保険者) for fiscal 2010, whose amounts the Social Insurance Medical Fee Payment Fund (社会保険診療報酬支払基金) had to change, and notify, without delay after the provisions in the proviso to Article 1 of those supplementary provisions came into effect.

国保法等一部改正法（こくほほうとういちぶかいせいほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 62 of 2012, for the Act Partially Amending the National Health Insurance Act, etc. to Establish a Sustainable Medical Insurance System (Act No. 31 of 2015).

第一号改正前高確法（だいいちごうかいせいまえこうかくほう）

Short name, in Articles 7 and 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2023, for the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People (Act No. 80 of 1982) as it stood before Article 6 of that Act amended it (only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (i) of those supplementary provisions).

第一号改正後高確法（だいいちごうかいせいごこうかくほう）

Short name, in Articles 7 and 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2023, for the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People (Act No. 80 of 1982) as amended by Article 6 of that Act (only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (i) of those supplementary provisions).

第三号新不動産登記法（だいさんごうしんふどうさんとうきほう）

In Article 5(7) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Civil Code, etc. (Act No. 24 of 2021), the Real Property Registration Act (Act No. 123 of 2004) as amended by Article 2 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions.

旧昭和四十九年改正法（きゅうしょうわよんじゅうきゅうねんかいせいほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance Act, etc. (Act No. 104 of 1980), the 1974 Act that partially amended this Act and other Acts (Act No. 115 of 1974), as it stood before Article 12 of those supplementary provisions amended it.

実施機関保険料相当額（じっしきかんほけんりょうそうとうがく）

In Article 23-2, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則), which applies from fiscal 2015 to fiscal 2026, for each implementing organization (実施機関) the total over a fiscal year of each month's premium rate (for category II, III and IV EPI insureds, the rates set by the tables in Articles 83, 84 and 85, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 63 of 2012) times that month's total standardized remuneration of the insureds who are its members or members of the private school personnel mutual aid scheme; its share of the premiums of all insureds replaces the rate in Article 84-6, paragraph (3), item (i) for those years.

平成六年国共済改正法（へいせいろくねんこっきょうさいかいせいほう）

In Article 18, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2012, short name for Act No. 98 of 1994, the 1994 Act partially amending the law on the mutual aid associations of national public officers and other laws.

前期確定加入者調整率（ぜんきかくていかにゅうしゃちょうせいりつ）

In Article 25 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 2002, the earlier-period finalized enrollee adjustment rate (前期確定加入者調整率) of a municipality as Article 17, paragraph (2) of those supplementary provisions defines it, used in working out, for fiscal 2003, the amount in Article 70, paragraph (3), item (ii)(b) of the National Health Insurance Act as amended by that Act for a municipality designated under Article 68-2, paragraph (1).

第三号施行日前延滞金（だいさんごうしこうびまええんたいきん）

In Article 35 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, an arrears charge (延滞金) under Article 45, paragraph (1) of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as Article 16 of the supplementary provisions of this Act, as it stood before Article 15 of Act No. 83 of 2014 amended it, applied that paragraph; for the part covering the time from 1 April 2015, the date the provisions in Article 1, item (iii) of that Act's supplementary provisions came into effect, Article 13-5-6 of the supplementary provisions of the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People as amended applies, and the former rules continue to apply to the part covering the time before it.

特許権等に関する訴え（とっきょけんとうにかんするうったえ）

An action concerning a patent right, a utility model right, a layout-design exploitation right for an integrated circuit (回路配置利用権), or an author's right in a computer program (プログラムの著作物).

取りやめの承認の場合（とりやめのしょうにんのばあい）

The case where a corporation received the approval under Article 4-5, paragraph (3) of the Corporation Tax Act as it stood before Act No. 8 of 2020 (旧法人税法), including approval given under the earlier rules that Article 16, paragraph (3) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) keeps.

取りやめの承認の場合（とりやめのしょうにんのばあい）

The case where a corporation received the approval under Article 4-5, paragraph (3) of the Corporation Tax Act as it stood before Act No. 8 of 2020 (旧法人税法), including approval given under the earlier rules that Article 16, paragraph (3) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) keeps.

四月新租税特別措置法（しがつしんそぜいとくべつそちほう）

This Act (the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation) as amended by Article 13 of Act No. 8 of 2024, the Act these supplementary provisions (附則) belong to, leaving out the amendments listed in Article 1, item (xiii)(a) of those supplementary provisions.

有価証券の売買取引等（ゆうかしょうけんのばいばいとりひきとう）

In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 70 of 1994, a purchase and sale of securities, a securities index futures transaction (有価証券指数等先物取引), a securities option transaction (有価証券オプション取引) or a foreign market securities futures transaction (外国市場証券先物取引).

証券会社等の主要株主（しょうけんがいしゃとうのしゅようかぶぬし）

In Article 2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 54 of 2003, a major shareholder (主要株主) of a securities company (証券会社), or a major shareholder of a holding company (持株会社, as defined in Article 9, paragraph (5), item (i) of the Act on Prohibition of Private Monopolization and Maintenance of Fair Trade) that has a securities company as its subsidiary company, with those words read as Article 2, paragraph (9) and Article 28-4, paragraphs (2) and (3) of this Act under its former title (証券取引法), as amended by Article 1 of that Act, define them.

一人平均老人医療費額（ひとりへいきんろうじんいりょうひがく）

In Article 10, paragraph (1), item (i) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 89 of 1991, the average, across all insurers, of the elderly medical expenses before that Act's effective date (施行日前老人医療費額) per participant aged 70 or over, etc. (七十歳以上の加入者等), as a Ministry of Health and Welfare Order (厚生省令) calculates it; where an insurer's own figure, divided by this average, exceeds a rate a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, the part of its expenses above this average times that rate is its medical expenses excluded from adjustment (施行日前調整対象外医療費額) in working out its fiscal 1991 final medical expense contribution (確定医療費拠出金).
