新信用金庫法（しんしんようきんこほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 106 of 2005, the Shinkin Bank Act as amended by Article 3 of that Act.

新労働金庫法（しんろうどうきんこほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 106 of 2005, the Labor Bank Act as amended by Article 4 of that Act.

老齢年金給付等（ろうれいねんきんきゅうふとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 63 of 2013, the benefits provided for in Article 130, paragraphs (1) to (3) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before that Act, kept in force by Article 5, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions; the reserve held to pay them is the reserve for pension benefits, etc. (年金給付等積立金).

三十年一月新法（さんじゅうねんいちがつしんぽう）

The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 9 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 2 of 2015, which come into effect on 1 January 2018.

旧租税特別措置法（きゅうそぜいとくべつそちほう）

In Articles 2 and 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 7 of 2025, the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation as it stood before Article 8 of the Act Partially Amending the Income Tax Act, etc. (Act No. 13 of 2025) amended it, as Article 44 of that Act's supplementary provisions keeps it applying.

特定資産の販売等（とくていしさんのはんばいとう）

A sale of assets or similar transaction under Article 65, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before the 2018 amending law (Act No. 7 of 2018), other than a lease transfer, made on deferred payment terms before that law came into effect.

昭和五十五年新法（しょうわごじゅうごねんしんぽう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Acts No. 11 of 1978 and No. 15 of 1979, this Act as amended by the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation (Act No. 9 of 1980).

第三号旧介護保険法（だいさんごうきゅうかいごほけんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (this Act) as it stood before Article 5 of that Act amended it, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions, which came into effect on 1 April 2015.

一時抹消登録自動車（いちじまっしょうとうろくじどうしゃ）

In Article 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 40 of 2006, a motor vehicle that received temporary cancellation of registration (一時抹消登録) under this Act as it stood before Article 2 of that Act amended it, before the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions came into effect (一部施行日).

平成二十四年機能強化法（へいせいにじゅうよねんきのうきょうかほう）

Short name, in the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 74 of 2025, for the Act Partially Amending the National Pension Act, etc. to Strengthen, etc. the Financial Basis and Minimum Guarantee Function of the Public Pension System (Act No. 62 of 2012).

第四号新金融商品取引法（だいよんごうしんきんゆうしょうひんとりひきほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 79 of 2023, the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act (Act No. 25 of 1948) as amended by Article 1 of that Act, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions.

施行日（しこうび）

The date Ministry of Justice Order No. 50 of 2009, the amending Ministerial Order these supplementary provisions (附則) belong to, comes into effect.

旧民法（きゅうみんぽう）

This Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 24 of 2021 amended it.

利子等（りしとう）

The interest, distributions of proceeds or gains listed in the items of Article 4-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 96 of 1987, on property accumulation savings (財産形成貯蓄) deposited before 1 April 1988 that still met that Article's conditions on 31 March 1988.

旧契約（きゅうけいやく）

In Article 31, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 8 of 2024, a contract as referred to in Article 29-2, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act — the contract under which a stock company grants share options (新株予約権) — made before the date that Act comes into effect (施行日).

特定日（とくていび）

In Article 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2008, the day on which one year has passed, counting from the date Act No. 65 of 2006 came into effect.
