特例対象の場合（とくれいたいしょうのばあい）

In this Article of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 10 of 2014, the case where, among the consolidated parent corporation and subsidiaries applying Article 68-15-5, paragraph (1) of this Act as amended by that Act in the special consolidated business year (特例連結事業年度), there is a special consolidated corporation (特例連結法人) whose special eligible business year (特例対象事業年度) is a year listed in item (i) or (ii) of this paragraph.

大型第二種免許（おおがただいにしゅめんきょ）

The class 2 large motor vehicle license (大型自動車第二種免許) of Article 84, paragraph (4) of the Road Traffic Act as amended by Article 4 of Act No. 90 of 2004, as Article 6, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) names it in saying which license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be which license under the new one; a class 2 large motor vehicle license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be this one.

みなし認可基金（みなしにんかききん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, an investor protection fund (投資者保護基金) that held an authorization under Article 79-30, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it, under its former title (証券取引法) when that Act came into effect, and that Article 89 of those supplementary provisions therefore treats as authorized under Article 79-30, paragraph (1) of this Act as Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it.

第三号改正規定（だいさんごうかいせいきてい）

In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 32 of 2024, the provisions of that Act listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions, which come into effect on a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within two years of the Act's promulgation.

In Article 117 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Act Partially Amending the Employees' Pension Insurance Act, etc. to Unify, etc. the Employees' Pension Systems (Act No. 63 of 2012), this Act as amended by Article 115 of those supplementary provisions.

報酬比例部分の額（ほうしゅうひれいぶぶんのがく）

The amount worked out under Article 9-2, paragraph (2), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of this Act, directly or as another provision applies it — the part of an employees' old-age pension under Article 8 of those supplementary provisions that is based on the average standardized amount of remuneration (平均標準報酬額) and the number of insured months.

特例支給開始年齢（とくれいしきゅうかいしねんれい）

In Article 13-4, paragraph (7) of the supplementary provisions (附則), the age shown in the right-hand column of the tables in Article 8-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則), which takes the place of age 65, in applying Article 44 on additional pension amounts (加給年金額), for a beneficiary of an employees' old-age pension under Article 13-4, paragraph (3) whose pension has the early-claim adjustment amount (繰上げ調整額) added.

改修工事対象住宅（かいしゅうこうじたいしょうじゅうたく）

In Article 11-4 of the supplementary provisions (附則), a house at least ten years old (in a multi-unit building, each separately partitioned dwelling), other than one nobody has yet lived in, whose acquisition by a real estate broker (宅地建物取引業者) that renovates it and sells it to an individual to live in has its real estate acquisition tax (不動産取得税) reduced under that Article.

一往復用一般旅券（いちおうふくよういっぱんりょけん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 23 of 1995, the ordinary passport (一般旅券) described in the second sentence of Article 2 of the supplementary provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Passport Act (Act No. 23 of 1989): a passport carried over from before that 1989 Act that is valid for a single journey rather than multiple journeys.

経過措置適用地区（けいかそちてきようちく）

In Article 56, paragraph (8) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 13 of 2009, the districts listed in item (i)(d) of the table in Article 45, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act (旧効力措置法), which those provisions keep in effect, limited to districts designated as water source areas under Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Measures concerning Measures Related to Water Resources Areas before that Act came into effect; industrial machinery a consolidated corporation acquires there between that date and 31 March 2012 can use Article 68-27, paragraph (1).

令和五年新措置法（れいわごねんしんそちほう）

In Article 32, paragraph (6) and Article 46, paragraph (2) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2023, this Act as amended by Article 10 of that Act (Act No. 3 of 2023), leaving out the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iv)(d) of those supplementary provisions.

令和六年新措置法（れいわろくねんしんそちほう）

In Article 32, paragraph (7) and Article 46, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2023, this Act as amended by the provisions of Article 10 of that Act (Act No. 3 of 2023) that are listed in Article 1, item (iv)(d) of those supplementary provisions.

供託対象外発行者（きょうたくたいしょうがいはっこうしゃ）

In Article 11, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of this Act, a person that was already issuing, when this Act came into effect, prepaid payment instruments (前払式支払手段) other than prepaid certificates (前払式証票) under the former Act (旧法), apart from those named in Article 7, paragraph (3) of that Act's supplementary provisions; for those instruments the security deposit (発行保証金) of Article 14, paragraph (1) is one-sixth, then two-sixths, of the unused balance on the first and second base dates (基準日) after this Act came into effect, instead of one-half.

旧大量保有報告書（きゅうたいりょうほゆうほうこくしょ）

In Article 11, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, a statement of large-volume holdings (大量保有報告書) under Article 27-23, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Article 2 of that Act amended it, submitted under Article 10, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions on or after the date in their Article 1, item (iv).
