三十年四月旧法（さんじゅうねんしがつきゅうほう）

The Local Tax Act as it stood before the provisions listed in Article 1, item 9-2 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 2 of 2015, which come into effect on 1 April 2018, amended it.

証券市場整備令（しょうけんしじょうせいびれい）

Short name for the Cabinet Order (政令) No. 363 of 2002 that amended the Order for Enforcement of the Income Tax Act and other Cabinet Orders on the coming into effect of the 2002 Act (Act No. 65 of 2002) improving the securities market through reform of the securities settlement system.

みなし認可基金（みなしにんかききん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, an investor protection fund (投資者保護基金) that held an authorization under Article 79-30, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it, under its former title (証券取引法) when that Act came into effect, and that Article 89 of those supplementary provisions therefore treats as authorized under Article 79-30, paragraph (1) of this Act as Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it.

主要株主適格者（しゅようかぶぬしてきかくしゃ）

In Article 108 and Article 110 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, a local government or other person a Cabinet Order (政令) specifies that held an authorization under Article 106-3, paragraph (1) or the proviso to paragraph (4) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it, under its former title (証券取引法) when that Act came into effect, and is therefore treated as authorized under Article 106-3, paragraph (1) of this Act as Act No. 65 of 2006 amended it.

第三号改正規定（だいさんごうかいせいきてい）

In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 32 of 2024, the provisions of that Act listed in Article 1, item (iii) of those supplementary provisions, which come into effect on a date a Cabinet Order (政令) sets within two years of the Act's promulgation.

新個別延長給付（しんこべつえんちょうきゅうふ）

In Article 3, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 14 of 2017, payment of the basic allowance (基本手当) under Article 24-2 of this Act as amended by Article 1 of that Act, which may follow the old individual extended benefits (旧個別延長給付) for someone who was receiving them when that Article came into effect and falls under Article 24-2, paragraph (1), item (ii).

会社法関係整備法（かいしゃほうかんけいせいびほう）

Short name for the Act on Arrangement of Relevant Acts Incidental to Enforcement of the Companies Act (Act No. 87 of 2005).

外国法人課税所得（がいこくほうじんかぜいしょとく）

Taxable income of a foreign corporation as described in Article 5, paragraph (2), item (ii) of this Act as amended by Act No. 6 of 2007: income with its source in Japan of the kinds that item lists, belonging to the assets of a trust taxed as a corporation (法人課税信託) that a nonresident has taken on as trustee.

旧住民基本台帳法（きゅうじゅうみんきほんだいちょうほう）

In Article 3, paragraph (1) and Article 47 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Ministry of Finance Order No. 53 of 2014, the Residential Basic Book Act as it stood before Article 19 of the Act on Arrangement of Relevant Acts Incidental to Enforcement of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 28 of 2013) amended it.

一往復用一般旅券（いちおうふくよういっぱんりょけん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 23 of 1995, the ordinary passport (一般旅券) described in the second sentence of Article 2 of the supplementary provisions of the Act Partially Amending the Passport Act (Act No. 23 of 1989): a passport carried over from before that 1989 Act that is valid for a single journey rather than multiple journeys.

会社法関係整備法（かいしゃほうかんけいせいびほう）

Short name for the Act on Arrangement of Relevant Acts Incidental to Enforcement of the Companies Act (Act No. 87 of 2005).

経過措置適用地区（けいかそちてきようちく）

In Article 56, paragraph (8) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 13 of 2009, the districts listed in item (i)(d) of the table in Article 45, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act (旧効力措置法), which those provisions keep in effect, limited to districts designated as water source areas under Article 3, paragraph (1) of the Act on Special Measures concerning Measures Related to Water Resources Areas before that Act came into effect; industrial machinery a consolidated corporation acquires there between that date and 31 March 2012 can use Article 68-27, paragraph (1).

認定事業再編法人（にんていじぎょうさいへんほうじん）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 8 of 2020, a corporation filing blue returns (青色申告書) that is a certified business restructuring operator (認定事業再編事業者) under Article 66-13, paragraph (2) of this Act as it stood before that Act amended it, whose specified business restructuring plan (特定事業再編計画) was certified under Article 18, paragraph (1) of the Act on the Support for Strengthening Agricultural Competitiveness before that Act came into effect, other than the corporations listed in the items of Article 66-12, paragraph (1).

供託対象外発行者（きょうたくたいしょうがいはっこうしゃ）

In Article 11, paragraphs (3) and (4) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of this Act, a person that was already issuing, when this Act came into effect, prepaid payment instruments (前払式支払手段) other than prepaid certificates (前払式証票) under the former Act (旧法), apart from those named in Article 7, paragraph (3) of that Act's supplementary provisions; for those instruments the security deposit (発行保証金) of Article 14, paragraph (1) is one-sixth, then two-sixths, of the unused balance on the first and second base dates (基準日) after this Act came into effect, instead of one-half.

旧回送運行許可証（きゅうかいそううんこうきょかしょう）

In Article 3, paragraph (3) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 55 of 2004, a delivery operation permit (回送運行許可証) issued under Article 36-2, paragraph (3) of this Act as it stood before Act No. 55 of 2004 amended it and held when that Act's amendments to Article 36-2 came into effect; it is treated as a new delivery operation permit (新回送運行許可証), valid for what remained of its validity period (有効期間) on that date.

旧有価証券報告書（きゅうゆうかしょうけんほうこくしょ）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 4 of 1971, a report under Article 24, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before that Act amended it, together with any amended report of it, for a business year that ended before the date that Act came into effect.

旧大量保有報告書（きゅうたいりょうほゆうほうこくしょ）

In Article 11, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 65 of 2006, a statement of large-volume holdings (大量保有報告書) under Article 27-23, paragraph (1) of this Act as it stood before Article 2 of that Act amended it, submitted under Article 10, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions on or after the date in their Article 1, item (iv).

第四号旧介護保険法（だいよんごうきゅうかいごほけんほう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (this Act) as it stood before Article 5 of that Act amended it, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iv) of those supplementary provisions, which came into effect on 1 August 2015.

第七号旧介護保険法（だいしちごうきゅうかいごほけんほう）

In Articles 23 and 24 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, the Long-Term Care Insurance Act (this Act) as it stood before Article 6 of that Act amended it, counting only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (vii) of those supplementary provisions, which came into effect on 1 April 2018.

一往復用の一般旅券（いちおうふくようのいっぱんりょけん）

Among the passports and travel documents carried over from before Act No. 23 of 1989 amended this Act (the former passports, etc., 旧旅券等), an ordinary passport (一般旅券) that is not valid for multiple journeys, that is, one issued for a single journey.
