債権者委員会
A committee made up of bankruptcy creditors (破産債権者) that the court, on an interested person's petition, has approved under Article 144, paragraph (1) to take part in the bankruptcy proceedings.
One of the contracts Article 8, paragraph (1) lists — a trust contract, a life insurance contract, a life mutual aid (生命共済) contract or a non-life insurance contract — that an employer running a corporate-type pension plan must conclude for its reserve fund (積立金); the other party may not refuse it without good reason.
業務執行者等
In Article 5-2, the person who executes the business of a partnership under a partnership contract (組合契約), or the trustee of a trust, through which a nonresident or foreign corporation receives interest on book-entry national or local government bonds.
An individual who is under 40 and has a spouse, is 40 or older and has a spouse under 40, or has a dependent relative (扶養親族) under 19, as Article 41, paragraph (9) defines.
Land or a land right that a corporation acquires through the exchange and consolidation (交換分合) described in the items of Article 65-10, paragraph 1.
指定管理団体
In Section 3 of Chapter V, the association designated by the Commissioner of the Agency for Cultural Affairs, with its consent, as the only one in Japan to exercise the right to compensation for public transmission for classes (授業目的公衆送信補償金) on behalf of the right holders, which then only it may exercise.
普通二輪免許
A standard motorcycle license (普通自動二輪車免許), the class 1 license (第一種免許) needed under Article 85, paragraph (1) to drive a standard motorcycle (普通自動二輪車); under Article 85, paragraph (2) it also covers special small motor vehicles and general motorized bicycles.
In Article 167, share certificates, etc. (株券等) as defined in Article 27-2, paragraph (1) that are listed on a financial instruments exchange (金融商品取引所), or are over-the-counter traded securities (店頭売買有価証券) or tradable securities (取扱有価証券).
銀行代理行為
In Chapter VII-4, any of the acts listed in Article 2, paragraph (14): acting for a bank as agent or intermediary in concluding contracts for accepting deposits or installment savings, etc. (定期積金等), for lending funds or discounting bills, or for exchange transactions (為替取引).
