第二条（検討）
The government is to, with a target of three years after this Act (or, for the provisions set forth in the items of the preceding Article, those respective provisions; the same applies in Article 15 and Article 16 of the Supplementary Provisions) comes into effect, taking into account the status of the enforcement of the respective Acts as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to in this Article as "the respective Acts as amended"), the status of the utilization of information for improving the quality of medical care, the status of the spread of the individual number card (meaning the individual number card prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (7) of the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (Act No. 27 of 2013)), and other status of the progress of the computerization of Society and the economy, when it finds it necessary, review the provisions of the respective Acts as amended, and take necessary measures based on the results of that review.
政府は、この法律の施行後三年を目途として、この法律（前条各号に掲げる規定にあっては、当該各規定。附則第十五条及び第十六条において同じ。）による改正後のそれぞれの法律（以下この条において「改正後の各法律」という。）の施行の状況、医療の質の向上に資するための情報の活用の状況、個人番号カード（行政手続における特定の個人を識別するための番号の利用等に関する法律（平成二十五年法律第二十七号）第二条第七項に規定する個人番号カードをいう。）の普及の状況その他社会経済の情報化の進展状況等を勘案し、必要があると認めるときは、改正後の各法律の規定について検討を加え、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるものとする。
Effective Date
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2020; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect as of the days specified in those items.
この法律は、令和二年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
