To the extent that it does not interfere with the performance of the operations of the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, the Minister may, as provided by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, in response to entrustment from the general public, use medical corporation information to prepare statistics and conduct statistical research that are specified by Order of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare as having considerable public interest in being carried out using medical corporation information (referred to as "preparation of statistics, etc." in Article 69-7 and Article 69-8, paragraph (1)).
厚生労働大臣は、その業務の遂行に支障のない範囲内において、厚生労働省令で定めるところにより、一般からの委託に応じ、医療法人情報を利用して、医療法人情報を利用して行うことについて相当の公益性を有する統計の作成及び統計的研究として厚生労働省令で定めるもの（第六十九条の七及び第六十九条の八第一項において「統計の作成等」という。）を行うことができる。
