If a person falls under any of the following items, the person who has committed the violation will be subjected to imprisonment for a period of not less than one year and not more than 10 years, or to a fine of not less than 200,000 yen and not more than 3,000,000 yen:
次の各号のいずれかに該当するときは、その違反行為をした者は、一年以上十年以下の拘禁刑又は二十万円以上三百万円以下の罰金に処する。
if a person has conducted or engaged in employment placement, recruitment of workers, or worker supply through means of assault, intimidation, unlawful confinement, or any other method unfairly restricting person's mental or physical freedom; or
if a person has conducted or engaged in employment placement, recruitment of workers, acts of providing recruitment/candidate information, or supplying workers with the intention of making them work in a job that is harmful to public health or public morals.
