第二条（消費者契約法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
The provisions of Article 4, paragraph (3), items (iii) and (iv) of the Consumer Contract Act as amended by the provisions of Article 1 (hereinafter referred to as the "new Consumer Contract Act" in this Article) (including where these provisions are applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Consumer Contract Act) apply to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract (meaning a consumer contract prescribed in Article 2, paragraph (3) of the Consumer Contract Act; the same applies in the following paragraph and paragraph (3)) or by the acceptance of such an offer made on or after the date on which this Act comes into effect (referred to as the "effective date" in the provisions of the following paragraph through paragraph (4)).
第一条の規定による改正後の消費者契約法（以下この条において「新消費者契約法」という。）第四条第三項第三号及び第四号（これらの規定を消費者契約法第五条第一項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、この法律の施行の日（次項から第四項までの規定において「施行日」という。）以後にされる消費者契約（消費者契約法第二条第三項に規定する消費者契約をいう。次項及び第三項において同じ。）の申込み又はその承諾の意思表示について適用する。
The provisions of Article 4, paragraph (3), item (ix) of the new Consumer Contract Act (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 5, paragraph (1) of the Consumer Contract Act) apply to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made on or after the effective date, and with regard to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made before the effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新消費者契約法第四条第三項第九号（消費者契約法第五条第一項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、施行日以後にされる消費者契約の申込み又はその承諾の意思表示について適用し、施行日前にされた消費者契約の申込み又はその承諾の意思表示については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 8, paragraph (3) of the new Consumer Contract Act apply to the clauses of a consumer contract entered into on or after the effective date.
新消費者契約法第八条第三項の規定は、施行日以後に締結される消費者契約の条項について適用する。
The provisions of Article 12-5 of the new Consumer Contract Act apply to a demand under the provisions of Article 12, paragraph (3) of the new Consumer Contract Act or Article 12, paragraph (4) of the Consumer Contract Act made on or after the effective date.
新消費者契約法第十二条の五の規定は、施行日以後にされる新消費者契約法第十二条第三項又は消費者契約法第十二条第四項の規定による請求について適用する。
The provisions of Article 19, paragraph (4) of the new Consumer Contract Act apply to an application under that paragraph made on or after the date on which the provisions set forth in item (i) of the preceding Article come into effect (hereinafter referred to as the "item (i) effective date" in this Article through Article 4 of the Supplementary Provisions), and with regard to an application under Article 19, paragraph (4) of the Consumer Contract Act prior to the amendment by the provisions of Article 1 (referred to as the "former Consumer Contract Act" in the following paragraph) made before the item (i) effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新消費者契約法第十九条第四項の規定は、前条第一号に掲げる規定の施行の日（以下この条から附則第四条までにおいて「第一号施行日」という。）以後にされる同項の申請について適用し、第一号施行日前にされた第一条の規定による改正前の消費者契約法（次項において「旧消費者契約法」という。）第十九条第四項の申請については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 20, paragraph (4) of the new Consumer Contract Act apply to an application under that paragraph made on or after the item (i) effective date, and with regard to an application under Article 20, paragraph (4) of the former Consumer Contract Act made before the item (i) effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新消費者契約法第二十条第四項の規定は、第一号施行日以後にされる同項の申請について適用し、第一号施行日前にされた旧消費者契約法第二十条第四項の申請については、なお従前の例による。
The provisions of Article 31, paragraphs (1), (2), and (5) of the new Consumer Contract Act apply to the documents prescribed in paragraph (1) of that Article pertaining to a business year beginning on or after the item (i) effective date, and with regard to the documents pertaining to a business year that began before the item (i) effective date, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
新消費者契約法第三十一条第一項、第二項及び第五項の規定は、第一号施行日以後に開始する事業年度に係る同条第一項に規定する書類について適用し、第一号施行日前に開始した事業年度に係る書類については、なお従前の例による。
