第二条（経過措置）
With regard to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 4, paragraph (2) of the Consumer Contract Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act") (including as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 5, paragraph (1) of the new Act).
The provisions of Article 4, paragraph (3), items (iii) through (viii) of the new Act (including where these provisions are applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 5, paragraph (1) of the new Act) do not apply to a manifestation of an intention to be bound by the offer of a consumer contract or by the acceptance of such an offer made before this Act comes into effect.
新法第四条第三項第三号から第八号まで（これらの規定を新法第五条第一項において準用する場合を含む。）の規定は、この法律の施行前にされた消費者契約の申込み又はその承諾の意思表示については、適用しない。
With regard to the clauses of a consumer contract entered into before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 8, paragraph (1) and Article 8-2 of the new Act.
The provisions of Article 8-3 of the new Act do not apply to the clauses of a consumer contract entered into before this Act comes into effect.
