第二条（認定の請求等に関する経過措置）
A person who is to satisfy, on August 1, 2010, the requirements for payment (hereinafter in this Article referred to as the "new requirements for payment") of Child Rearing Allowance (hereinafter referred to as the "allowance") under the provisions of the Child Rearing Allowance Act as amended by this Act (hereinafter referred to as the "New Act") (limited to a person who does not satisfy the requirements for payment of the allowance under the provisions of the Child Rearing Allowance Act before amendment by this Act (hereinafter in this Article referred to as the "former requirements for payment")) may, even before that day, on the condition that the person satisfies the new requirements for payment on that day, take the procedure for a claim for certification under Article 6, paragraph (1) of the New Act with respect to that allowance.
平成二十二年八月一日においてこの法律による改正後の児童扶養手当法（以下「新法」という。）の規定による児童扶養手当（以下「手当」という。）の支給要件（以下この条において「新支給要件」という。）に該当すべき者（この法律による改正前の児童扶養手当法の規定による手当の支給要件（以下この条において「旧支給要件」という。）に該当していない者に限る。）は、同日前においても、同日に新支給要件に該当することを条件として、当該手当について新法第六条第一項の規定による認定の請求の手続をとることができる。
Where a person who has taken the procedure under the preceding paragraph satisfies the new requirements for payment on August 1, 2010, payment of the allowance to that person begins from that month, notwithstanding Article 7, paragraph (1) of the New Act.
Where a person listed in the following items makes a claim for certification under Article 6, paragraph (1) of the New Act by November 30, 2010, payment of the allowance to that person begins, notwithstanding Article 7, paragraph (1) of the New Act, from the month specified respectively in those items.
A person who actually satisfies the new requirements for payment on August 1, 2010 (limited to a person who does not satisfy the former requirements for payment, and excluding a person who has taken the procedure under paragraph (1)): that month;
A person who comes to satisfy the new requirements for payment during the period from August 1, 2010 to November 30 of that year (limited to a person who does not satisfy the former requirements for payment): the month following the month that includes the day on which the person comes to satisfy the new requirements for payment.
