Supplementary Provisions, Article 5Transitional Measures Concerning Stay of Set-Offs
第五条（相殺の禁止に関する経過措置）
With regard to the stay of set-off by a bankruptcy creditor in the case where the cause for the bankruptcy creditor to assume an obligation to the bankrupt arose before the enforcement of the New Act, and the stay of set-off by a person who assumes an obligation to the bankrupt in the case where the cause for acquisition of a bankruptcy claim by that person arose before the enforcement of the New Act, the provisions then in force continue to govern, notwithstanding the provisions of Articles 71 and 72 of the New Act.
