Article 22Application, etc. under Article 29, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act
第二十二条（改正法附則第二十九条第一項の申請等）
An application pursuant to the provisions of Article 29, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act must be made by submitting one written application in Appended Form No. 17 and one photograph.
改正法附則第二十九条第一項の規定による申請は、別記第十七号様式による申請書一通及び写真一葉を提出して行わなければならない。
In filing the application referred to in the preceding paragraph, the applicant must present their passport. In this case, a special permanent resident who is unable to present it must submit one document stating the reason therefor.
The provisions of paragraph (3) of the preceding Article apply mutatis mutandis to the case of the application referred to in paragraph (1).
The document of which the mayor of the municipality makes a copy pursuant to the provisions of Article 22, paragraph (1) of the Arrangement and Transitional Measures Cabinet Order as applied mutatis mutandis pursuant to Article 24, paragraph (4) of the Arrangement and Transitional Measures Cabinet Order and sends the copy to the Minister of Justice is the passport presented pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (2).
整備及び経過措置政令第二十四条第四項において準用する整備及び経過措置政令第二十二条第一項の規定により市町村の長が写しを作成し、当該写しを法務大臣に送付する書類は、第二項の規定により提示された旅券とする。
The provisions of laws and regulations specified by Ministry of Justice Order prescribed in Article 8, paragraph (3) of the Special Act, with regard to the special permanent resident certificate to be issued pursuant to the provisions of Article 29, paragraph (3) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act on the basis of an application deemed to be an application under the provisions of Article 29, paragraph (1) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act pursuant to the provisions of Article 29, paragraph (2) of the Supplementary Provisions of the amending Act, are Article 3, paragraph (1) and Article 7, paragraph (1) of the former Alien Registration Act.
