Article 10Advice from Prefectures

第十条（都道府県の助言等）

A prefecture is to endeavor to provide the municipality with necessary advice and other assistance regarding technical matters related to the formulation of a municipal action plan.

都道府県は、市町村に対し、市町村行動計画の策定上の技術的事項について必要な助言その他の援助の実施に努めるものとする。

The competent minister is to endeavor to provide the prefecture with necessary advice and other assistance concerning the formulation of a prefectural action plan and other important technical matters for the formulation of the prefectural action plan.

主務大臣は、都道府県に対し、都道府県行動計画の策定の手法その他都道府県行動計画の策定上重要な技術的事項について必要な助言その他の援助の実施に努めるものとする。

A plan that a municipality (市町村) may make every five years under Article 8, in line with the guidelines for the formulation of an action plan (行動計画策定指針), for carrying out measures to support raising next-generation children (次世代育成支援対策) in its own work over a five-year term, such as support for childrearing in the area, the health of mothers, infants and young children, an educational environment for children's healthy growth, good housing for families raising children, and balancing work and family life.
