附 則
Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 2009; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified respectively in those items:
この法律は、平成二十一年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Articles 3 and 9 of the Supplementary Provisions: the date of promulgation;
附則第三条及び第九条の規定 公布の日
the provisions of Article 3 that amend Article 4, Articles 7 through 9, and Article 22 of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children: the date specified by Cabinet Order within a period not exceeding six months from the date of promulgation;
第三条中次世代育成支援対策推進法第四条、第七条から第九条まで及び第二十二条の改正規定 公布の日から起算して六月を超えない範囲内において政令で定める日
the provisions of Article 2, the provisions of Article 4 that amend Articles 7 through 9 of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, and the provisions of Articles 5 and 17 of the Supplementary Provisions: April 1, 2010;

Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Review
第二条（検討）
At around the time five years have passed since the enforcement of this Act, the government is to review the provisions of the Child Welfare Act, etc. as revised by this Act, taking into consideration the status of their enforcement, etc., and, if it finds it necessary, take necessary measures based on the results of the review.
政府は、この法律の施行後五年を目途として、この法律による改正後の児童福祉法等の規定について、その施行の状況等を勘案しつつ検討を加え、必要があると認めるときは、その結果に基づいて必要な措置を講ずるものとする。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 6Transitional Measures Concerning Publication of General Employer Action Plans
第六条（一般事業主行動計画の公表に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 12, paragraph (3) of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children as revised by the provisions of Article 3 (referred to as the "New Act" in the following paragraph and the following Article) apply to a general employer action plan formulated or changed on or after the date of enforcement of this Act pursuant to Article 12, paragraph (1) of the New Act.
The provisions of Article 12, paragraph (5) of the New Act apply to a general employer action plan formulated or changed on or after the date of enforcement of this Act pursuant to paragraph (4) of that Article.
Supplementary Provisions, Article 7Transitional Measures Concerning Notifying Workers of the General Employer Action Plans
第七条（一般事業主行動計画の労働者への周知に関する経過措置）
The provisions of Article 12-2, paragraph (1) of the New Act apply to a general employer action plan formulated or changed on or after the date of enforcement of this Act pursuant to Article 12, paragraph (1) of the New Act.
新法第十二条の二第一項の規定は、この法律の施行の日以後に新法第十二条第一項に基づき策定し、又は変更した一般事業主行動計画について適用する。
The provisions of Article 12-2, paragraph (2) of the New Act apply to a general employer action plan formulated or changed on or after the date of enforcement of this Act pursuant to Article 12, paragraph (4) of the New Act.
新法第十二条の二第二項の規定は、この法律の施行の日以後に新法第十二条第四項に基づき策定し、又は変更した一般事業主行動計画について適用する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 8Transitional Measures Concerning Notification of General Employer Action Plans
第八条（一般事業主行動計画の届出に関する経過措置）
A general employer action plan (limited to one whose implementation period includes the date of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions) that a general employer prescribed in Article 12, paragraph (1) of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children, the number of whose regularly employed workers at the time of enforcement of the provisions set forth in Article 1, item (iv) of the Supplementary Provisions actually exceeds 100 and is 300 or less, notified pursuant to the provisions of Article 12, paragraph (4) of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children prior to the revision by the provisions of Article 4 is deemed to be a general employer action plan notified pursuant to the provisions of Article 12, paragraph (1) of the Act on Advancement of Measures to Support Raising Next-Generation Children as revised by the provisions of Article 4.
附則第一条第四号に掲げる規定の施行の際現に常時雇用する労働者の数が百人を超え、三百人以下である次世代育成支援対策推進法第十二条第一項に規定する一般事業主が第四条の規定による改正前の次世代育成支援対策推進法第十二条第四項の規定により届け出た一般事業主行動計画（附則第一条第四号に掲げる規定の施行の日をその計画期間に含むものに限る。）は、第四条の規定による改正後の次世代育成支援対策推進法第十二条第一項の規定により届け出た一般事業主行動計画とみなす。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 9Delegation of Other Transitional Measures to Cabinet Order
第九条（その他の経過措置の政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in these Supplementary Provisions, transitional measures necessary incidental to the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
この附則に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
