Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect as of the day on which 20 days have elapsed from the date of promulgation; provided, however, that the provisions amending Article 2 (excluding the provision amending paragraph (1) of that Article), the provisions amending Article 3 (including its caption) and Article 4, paragraph (1), the provision amending Article 5 and the provision amending Article 19, paragraph (2), and the provisions of Articles 4 and 5 of the Supplementary Provisions come into effect as of the day on which three months have elapsed from the date of promulgation.
この法律は、公布の日から起算して二十日を経過した日から施行する。ただし、第二条の改正規定（同条第一項の改正規定を除く。）、第三条（見出しを含む。）及び第四条第一項の改正規定、第五条の改正規定並びに第十九条第二項の改正規定並びに附則第四条及び第五条の規定は、公布の日から起算して三月を経過した日から施行する。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Relationship with Ordinances
第二条（条例との関係）
With regard to any provision of an ordinance of a local public entity that provides for the punishment of an act which is regulated by the Anti-Stalking Act as amended by this Act (or, for the provisions prescribed in the proviso to the preceding Article, by those provisions; the same applies hereinafter in this paragraph) (hereinafter referred to as "the new Act" in this paragraph) and for which the new Act provides penal provisions, the part concerning that act is to cease to be effective at the same time as this Act comes into effect.
地方公共団体の条例の規定で、この法律（前条ただし書に規定する規定にあっては、当該規定。以下この項において同じ。）による改正後のストーカー行為等の規制等に関する法律（以下この項において「新法」という。）で規制する行為で新法で罰則が定められているものを処罰する旨を定めているものの当該行為に係る部分については、この法律の施行と同時に、その効力を失うものとする。
In the case where a provision of an ordinance ceases to be effective pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, if the local public entity concerned does not provide otherwise by ordinance, with regard to the punishment of violations committed before the provision ceases to be effective, the provisions then in force continue to govern even after it ceases to be effective.
前項の規定により条例の規定がその効力を失う場合において、当該地方公共団体が条例で別段の定めをしないときは、その失効前にした違反行為の処罰については、その失効後も、なお従前の例による。
Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Delegation to Cabinet Order
第三条（政令への委任）
Beyond what is provided for in the preceding Article, transitional measures necessary in connection with the enforcement of this Act are specified by Cabinet Order.
前条に規定するもののほか、この法律の施行に伴い必要な経過措置は、政令で定める。
