This Cabinet Order comes into effect on the date of enforcement of the Act Partially Amending the Act on Special Provisions for the Merger of Municipalities (Act No. 58 of 2004) (November 10, 2004).
この政令は、市町村の合併の特例に関する法律の一部を改正する法律（平成十六年法律第五十八号）の施行の日（平成十六年十一月十日）から施行する。
