Supplementary Provisions, Article 3Principles of Transitional Measures
第三条（経過措置の原則）
The provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure, the Non-Contentious Case Procedures Act and the Civil Enforcement Act as amended by this Act (excluding penal provisions) also apply to matters that arose before this Act comes into effect, except where these Supplementary Provisions provide otherwise; provided, however, that this does not affect the effect that arose under the provisions of those Acts before their amendment by this Act.
この法律による改正後の民事訴訟法、非訟事件手続法及び民事執行法の規定（罰則を除く。）は、この附則に特別の定めがある場合を除き、この法律の施行前に生じた事項にも適用する。ただし、この法律による改正前のこれらの法律の規定により生じた効力を妨げない。
