Supplementary Provisions, Article 1Effective Date
第一条（施行期日）
This Act comes into effect on April 1, 1995; provided, however, that the provisions set forth in the following items come into effect on the dates specified in those items:
この法律は、平成七年四月一日から施行する。ただし、次の各号に掲げる規定は、当該各号に定める日から施行する。
the provisions of Article 1 amending the table of contents of the Act on Employment Security of Elderly Persons (limited to the part revising Chapter V), the provisions adding a Chapter after Chapter IV of that Act (excluding the part pertaining to Article 44-3, paragraph (5)), the provisions amending Articles 47, 48 and 51 of that Act, and the provisions of Article 5 of the Supplementary Provisions amending Article 4, item (xli)-2 and Article 5, item (l)-2 of the Ministry of Labour Establishment Act (Act No. 162 of 1949): July 1, 1994;
第一条中高年齢者等の雇用の安定等に関する法律の目次の改正規定（第五章を改める部分に限る。）、同法第四章の次に一章を加える改正規定（第四十四条の三第五項に係る部分を除く。）並びに同法第四十七条、第四十八条及び第五十一条の改正規定並びに附則第五条中労働省設置法（昭和二十四年法律第百六十二号）第四条第四十一号の二及び第五条第五十号の二の改正規定 平成六年七月一日

Supplementary Provisions, Article 2Transitional Measures Concerning Penal Provisions
第二条（罰則に関する経過措置）
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律の施行前にした行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
