The Prime Minister delegates the authority under the provisions of this Act (excluding that specified by Cabinet Order) to the Commissioner of the Consumer Affairs Agency.
内閣総理大臣は、この法律の規定による権限（政令で定めるものを除く。）を消費者庁長官に委任する。
As specified in Cabinet Order, part of the administrative work under the authority of the Minister stipulated in this Act and under the authority delegated to the Commissioner of the Consumer Affairs Agency pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph may be conducted by prefectural governors.
この法律に規定する総務大臣の権限及び前項の規定により消費者庁長官に委任された権限に属する事務の一部は、政令で定めるところにより、都道府県知事が行うこととすることができる。
