Supplementary Provisions
附 則
This Act comes into effect as of July 1, 1949.
この法律は、昭和二十四年七月一日から施行する。
The Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act (Act No. 13 of 1895) and the Detailed Rules of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act (Ministry of Home Affairs Order No. 8 of 1895) are repealed.
古物商取締法（明治二十八年法律第十三号）及び古物商取締法細則（明治二十八年内務省令第八号）は、廃止する。
With regard to the application of penal provisions to acts committed in violation of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act before this Act comes into effect, the provisions then in force continue to govern.
この法律施行前にした古物商取締法に違反する行為に対する罰則の適用については、なお従前の例による。
A person who, at the time this Act comes into effect, has received a permit, an authorization or a license tag, or is subject to a prohibition or suspension of business, pursuant to the provisions of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act or the Detailed Rules of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act, is deemed to be a person who has received a permit, or who has been subject to the cancellation of a permit or the suspension of business, under the corresponding provisions of this Act, respectively; provided, however, that a person deemed to have received a permit must be issued a written permit under the provisions of Article 10, paragraph (1) within three months after this Act comes into effect.
この法律施行の際、古物商取締法又は古物商取締法細則の規定により、許可、認可若しくは鑑札を受け、又は営業の禁止若しくは停止を受けている者は、それぞれ、この法律の相当規定による許可を受け、又は許可の取消若しくは営業の停止を受けた者とみなす。但し、許可を受けた者とみなされた者は、この法律の施行後三月以内に第十条第一項の規定による許可証の交付を受けなければならない。
With regard to the application of Article 4, paragraph (1), item (ii), a person who has violated the provisions of Article 2 of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act or Article 9, paragraph (1) of the Detailed Rules of the Secondhand Goods Dealers Control Act is deemed to be a person who has violated the provisions of Article 6.
