連合会
From Article 10 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 18 of 2000 on, the surviving Pension Fund Association (存続連合会) of Article 3, item (xiii) of the supplementary provisions of Act No. 63 of 2013: the Pension Fund Association (企業年金連合会) set up under the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before Article 1 of Act No. 63 of 2013 amended it, which Article 37 of those supplementary provisions keeps in existence.
The date Act No. 33 of 2022, the amending Act these supplementary provisions (附則) belong to, comes into effect.
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 109 of 1994, 1 October 1996: under contracts for construction or manufacture concluded from 30 December 1988 to the day before it, taxable transfers made on or after 1 April 1997 stay taxed at the rate of the Consumption Tax Act as it stood before that Act (旧消費税法), except for any increase in price agreed on or after it.

大型免許
The large motor vehicle license (大型自動車免許) of Article 84, paragraph (3) of the Road Traffic Act as amended by Article 4 of Act No. 90 of 2004, as Article 6, paragraph (1) of that Act's supplementary provisions (附則) names it in saying which license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be which license under the new one; a large motor vehicle license held under the earlier wording is deemed to be this one.
In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 41 of 1987, work corresponding to the work of setting up and running the vocational centers (職業センターの設置運営業務) that the Employment Promotion Corporation (雇用促進事業団) had carried out under Article 19, paragraph (1) of Act No. 116 of 1961 (雇用促進事業団法, the law on the Employment Promotion Corporation), as it stood before Article 21 of those supplementary provisions amended it.
旧地方税法
In the wording Article 6, paragraph 1 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 69 of 2012 gives Article 72-114, paragraph 1 of the Local Tax Act, the Local Tax Act as it stood before Article 1 of the Act Partially Amending the Local Tax Act and the Local Allocation Tax Act to Carry Out a Drastic Reform of the Tax System for Securing Stable Financial Resources for Social Security, etc. (Act No. 69 of 2012) amended it, as Article 2 of that Act's supplementary provisions keeps it applying.
1 April 2018, the date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (vii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014 come into effect.

二年四月新法
The Local Tax Act as amended by the provisions listed in Article 1, item 7 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2018, which come into effect on 1 April 2020.
第一号施行日
The date the provisions listed in Article 1, item (i) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 59 of 2022 come into effect — among them its amendments to Articles 13, 14, 18 to 20, 31, 34, 35 and 50 to 53 of this Act — which is a date set by Cabinet Order (政令) within one year and six months of that Act's promulgation (公布, its official publication).
In Article 12 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 16 of 1973, a corporation's first business year beginning on or after 1 April 1973, used to work out its reserve for price fluctuations (価格変動準備金).
