令和九年初回航行時（れいわきゅうねんしょかいこうこうじ）

In Article 58, paragraph (6) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 3 of 2023, the time an aircraft first flies on or after 1 April 2027, at which aviation fuel (航空機燃料) still aboard that was taxed at the transitional aviation fuel tax (航空機燃料税) rates is treated as unloaded and loaded again at the rate this Act sets for the aircraft's category.

施行日以後医療費額（しこうびいごいりょうひがく）

In Article 5, paragraph (1), item (ii) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 106 of 1986, the cost of the medical care and payments of specified medical expenses (特定療養費), including payments of medical expenses, that municipalities (市町村) paid in fiscal 1986 for an insurer's participants aged 70 or over, etc. (七十歳以上の加入者等) for care given on or after 1 January 1987, when that Act came into effect; it is used to work out the insurer's fixed medical expense contribution (確定医療費拠出金) for fiscal 1986.

新高齢者医療確保法（しんこうれいしゃいりょうかくほほう）

Short name, in Article 35 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 83 of 2014, for the Act on Assurance of Medical Care for Elderly People (Act No. 80 of 1982) as amended by Article 18 of that Act (only the amendments listed in Article 1, item (iii) of its supplementary provisions), as Article 16 of the supplementary provisions of the National Health Insurance Act as amended by that Act applies it.

In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 141 of 2000, the transitional former other beds provided for in Article 2, paragraph (3), item (iv) of those provisions — former other beds (旧その他の病床) whose former rules Article 2, paragraph (2) kept in force until the hospital made its notification — which Article 5 counts with long-term care and general beds in applying Article 7-2, paragraph (1) of the Medical Care Act as that Act amended it, for two years and six months after it came into effect.

改正前の老齢厚生年金（かいせいまえのろうれいこうせいねんきん）

In Article 31 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 95 of 1994, an employees' old-age pension (老齢厚生年金) under Article 8 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before that Act amended it; for a person entitled to one before 1 April 1995, Article 8 and Article 15, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) as amended do not apply.

改正前の特例老齢年金（かいせいまえのとくれいろうれいねんきん）

In Article 32 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 95 of 1994, a special old-age pension (特例老齢年金) under Article 28-3, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) of the Employees' Pension Insurance Act as it stood before that Act amended it; for a person entitled to one before 1 April 1995, Article 28-3, paragraph (1) of the supplementary provisions (附則) as amended does not apply.

旧担保附社債信託法等（きゅうたんぽつきしゃさいしんたくほうとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 131 of 1998, the 49 laws that Article 2 of those provisions lists, beginning with the law on secured bond trusts (担保附社債信託法) and including the law on securities and exchange (証券取引法), the Banking Act and the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, as they stood before that Act amended them.

In Articles 6 and 12 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 7 of 2006, the law on special provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Corporation Tax Act and the Local Tax Act for implementing tax treaties (租税条約の実施に伴う所得税法、法人税法及び地方税法の特例等に関する法律) as amended by Article 26 of those supplementary provisions.

In Articles 2 and 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Ministry of Finance Order No. 72 of 2002, the date on which the Ministry of Finance Order (財務省令) No. 53 of 2007 that partially amended the Regulation for Enforcement of the Act on Special Measures Concerning Taxation and other orders came into effect.

In Article 3 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 137 of 1995, an agricultural cooperative, etc. (農業協同組合等) that was already carrying on a business of mutual liability insurance (責任共済), mutual reinsurance (再共済) or mutual retrocession (再再共済) when that Act came into effect.

旧担保附社債信託法等（きゅうたんぽつきしゃさいしんたくほうとう）

In the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 102 of 1997, the 46 laws that Article 2 of those provisions lists, beginning with the law on secured bond trusts (担保附社債信託法) and including the law on securities and exchange (証券取引法), the Banking Act and the Act on Securing Compensation for Automobile Accidents, as they stood before that Act amended them.
