A person registered by the Prime Minister under Article 63-22-2 to carry on electronic payment instruments and cryptoasset intermediary services (電子決済手段・暗号資産サービス仲介業).

電子決済等代行業
The business of passing on to a bank, on a depositor's behalf and through an electronic data processing system, the depositor's instructions to move funds from their account, or of obtaining a depositor's account information from the bank and providing it to them, excluding acts set by Cabinet Office Order (内閣府令) as unlikely to harm users, such as instructions for a depositor's regular payments to a particular person.

A financial instruments business operator engaged in type-I financial instruments business (not a foreign corporation) that has notified the Prime Minister under Article 57-2, paragraph (1) that its total assets exceed the threshold a Cabinet Order (政令) sets, other than one whose total assets have since stayed at or below that threshold for two years.
前項の規定による届出をした金融商品取引業者をいい、当該届出をした後第六項第二号に該当することとなつた者を除く
