In Article 5 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of Act No. 31 of 2023, the Social Insurance Medical Fee Payment Fund (社会保険診療報酬支払基金) under the Act on Social Insurance Medical Fee Payment Fund; for the fiscal 2022 grants and contributions for medical care benefits, its work relating to retirees' medical care (退職者医療関係業務) under Article 17 of the supplementary provisions of the National Health Insurance Act as it stood before Article 4 of that Act amended it stays under those former provisions.

In the wording that Article 9, paragraph 25 of the supplementary provisions (附則) gives Article 72-21, the period from the day the Act Partially Amending the Act on Facilitation of Information Processing and the Act on Special Accounts (Act No. 30 of 2025) came into effect to 30 June 2026, in which money a selected business operator (選定事業者) received from the Innovation Platform Agency, Japan (独立行政法人情報処理推進機構) as investment funds (取組資金) counts only by half toward its capital for the enterprise tax (事業税).

The Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act as it stood before Article 12 of the supplementary provisions (附則) of this Act (Act No. 89 of 2016) amended it, as Article 13, paragraph (1) of those supplementary provisions keeps it applying.
