Article 40Coordination Among Relevant Persons

第四十条(関係者相互の連携)

The Prime Minister, the heads of relevant administrative organs (if the administrative organ is an organ based on a council system, the administrative organ), the heads of relevant local governments, the head of the National Consumer Affairs Center of Japan, and other relevant persons are to endeavor to exchange necessary information and to ensure close coordination among them in order to prevent the inducement of customers through unjust premiums and misleading representations, and protect the interests of general consumers.

内閣総理大臣、関係行政機関の長(当該行政機関が合議制の機関である場合にあつては、当該行政機関)、関係地方公共団体の長、独立行政法人国民生活センターの長その他の関係者は、不当な景品類及び表示による顧客の誘引を防止して一般消費者の利益を保護するため、必要な情報交換を行うことその他相互の密接な連携の確保に努めるものとする。
