Article 3Public Hearings and Public Notices on the Designation of Premiums and Representations
第三条（景品類及び表示の指定に関する公聴会等及び告示）
When the Prime Minister intends to make a designation under the provisions of paragraph (3) or (4) of the preceding Article, or amend or abolish the designation, the Prime Minister must hold a public hearing and request the opinions of the relevant business operator and the public, and also request the opinion of the Consumer Commission, pursuant to the provisions of Cabinet Office Order.
The designation and its amendment and abolition provided for in the preceding paragraph is to be made by public notice.
前項に規定する指定並びにその変更及び廃止は、告示によつて行うものとする。
