Supplementary Provisions, Article 11Transitional Measures Accompanying Partial Amendment of the Medical Practitioners' Act
第十一条（医師法の一部改正に伴う経過措置）
A person who, at the time of the enforcement of the provisions of Article 6 (excluding the provisions amending Article 16-11, paragraph (1) of the Medical Practitioners' Act; the same applies hereinafter in this Article), falls under Article 11, item (i) of the Medical Practitioners' Act prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 6 (hereinafter referred to in this Article as the "former Medical Practitioners' Act") (including a person deemed to fall under Article 11, item (i) of the former Medical Practitioners' Act pursuant to the provisions of Article 17, paragraph (1) of the Act for Establishment of the Ministry of Defense (Act No. 164 of 1954) prior to its amendment by the provisions of Article 27 of the Supplementary Provisions) may take the national examination for medical practitioners, notwithstanding the provisions of Article 11, paragraph (1) (limited to the part pertaining to item (i)) of the Medical Practitioners' Act as amended by the provisions of Article 6.
第六条の規定（医師法第十六条の十一第一項の改正規定を除く。以下この条において同じ。）の施行の際現に第六条の規定による改正前の医師法（以下この条において「旧医師法」という。）第十一条第一号に該当する者（附則第二十七条の規定による改正前の防衛省設置法（昭和二十九年法律第百六十四号）第十七条第一項の規定により旧医師法第十一条第一号に該当する者とみなされた者を含む。）は、第六条の規定による改正後の医師法第十一条第一項（第一号に係る部分に限る。）の規定にかかわらず、医師国家試験を受けることができる。
