No person other than an attorney may act as a counsel, in addition to an agent who may perform acts in court under laws and regulations,;provided, however, that in a summary court, a person who is not an attorney may be appointed as a counsel with the permission of the court.
法令により裁判上の行為をすることができる代理人のほか、弁護士でなければ手続代理人となることができない。ただし、簡易裁判所においては、その許可を得て、弁護士でない者を手続代理人とすることができる。
The permission referred to in the proviso to the preceding paragraph may be rescinded at any time.
前項ただし書の許可は、いつでも取り消すことができる。
